On November 8,2024, I ordered $91.46 worth of food via phone. I arrived to pickup my order and I saw two employees carrying out a bag of trash. I think nothing of it and I go inside to pickup my order. Once inside the same two employees come back in and one goes back to the trash can in the eating area where the other comes over to the desk to help me. I notice she didn’t bother to wash her hands before touching an order that was sitting out on the counter. Therefore I asked, are you planning to wash your hands before you start touching peoples food since you were just taking out the trash. She tells me that the trash was in a bag. She gets an attitude after my response so she washes her hands and goes on to tell me it wasn’t my order. She goes in the back because she’s now upset that I asked a simple question. Which I would say shouldn’t have to be asked when handling food. Then here comes the employee that finished handling the trash can in the dining area. This is now on repeat as she does the same thing as the previous employee. I asked her the same question. Another attitude because they see nothing wrong with not washing their hands after handling trash. Finally, the first employee comes back and says that the order that she touch the first time had been sitting on the counter this entire time was my order. I get home with my food and it is horrible - meats (pulled pork hard and chopped chicken under cooked) and baked beans overcooked (old). A total waste of my hard earned money as I ended up throwing all the food away because didn’t want to risk my guests getting sick. Read moreI'm very surprised this place has a 4.5 rating. I am definitely not the person to ever complain about a place and I'm definitely too lazy to go out of my day to write a review but I just couldn't brush it off.
Here we are two Paramedics coming in before a 12 hour shift to grab something to eat. The girl at the register was young and sweet initially....until we noticed the public safety patches on the walls of local fire and police! We love that considering it's EMS, fire and police out on the streets taking care of our community. When we asked about a public safety discount of course we get told that fire and police get a discount but EMS does not. When asked if we aren't included in a public safety discount the girl doesn't even go ask her manager, instead she says I don't know and proceeds to hand us our bill. Honestly it's a slap in the face. I don't care about the discount but to for EMS to be pushed to the side lines like we shouldn't be included in public safety is pretty insulting.
From the point on the young girl at the register was not very nice anymore. I'm not sure if it was because she was questioned? But it was a pretty miserable experience even after all that considering my fries had a big black hair on them! Yummy! But I didn't go complain. I just didn't eat my fries. I was pretty amnnoyed by that point.
I hope the manager or owner of this location will see this and maybe consider also supporting EMS as well as Fire and police. It's a shame that we are always pushed to the side lines. Fire and police officers need heros too people! And I hate being the one to step up and say it since most of EMS personnel are too humble to...
Read moreI’ve Been a fairly regular customer here since they opened. Nobody in my family eats pork so my son and I have always gotten the two meat plate with double chicken and we share the 2 sides. ALWAYS! Every single time we go....However, this visit my husband and I went in and I ordered as I always have before and was told that I wasn’t allowed to get two orders of chicken, that I had to get a different meat. The two girls behind the counter said no that it was the company’s policy and implied that I had never been able to do that because they have never allowed it. Of course the area was full of other patrons waiting and they were all watching and listening as the two girls together implied that I was lying. Needless to say, we went somewhere else. The menu does not say anything about restrictions. It simply states that you have a choice of 2 of the meats listed. I always choose 2 of the chicken. It would be different if that was not what I ALWAYS order. Very disappointed..have never gotten such bad customer service...
