We did the done in. We waited 20 minutes, then I had to go to the counter top ask how long it takes to get food. The manager stated they're getting food out as fast as they can. I asked again how long does it take. She reluctantly answered, they try to get it out in 5 minutes. I showed her my receipt and said it's been almost 20 minutes. No sorry from her, just, I will check on it. When the food was brought out, my sandwich had a pickle slice on top. I had requested no pickle when I ordered and said make sure there isn't one on top of the bun, like they normally do. Any other time, I would let it slide, but I was already mad that so many others had received their food that had ordered after us. I took it back up and asked the manager for a replacement due to their second mistake. She asked what I had on my sandwich, I told her mayo, lettuce, and tomato. She tried to hand me the cheese curds and I told her I wanted fresh with my new sandwich. Again no apology for the mistake. They brought my order out again. They didn't check that it was a bacon cheeseburger and brought me just the cheeseburger. That was it! I went up and asked for my money back. Now my wife and I had gone for supper together. Hers was made right, just had to wait over 20 minutes. She ate while I waited for my replacement. The manager, again not apologizing, tried to refund only my food. I told her it was NOT acceptable and wanted the full refund. I was told she couldn't do that. Had to have the owner step up at that point to give me the refund. NEVER going to a Culver's...
Read moreNot great. I’ve been to many Culver’s before and this one did not compare to any others. Small details were missed everywhere- garbages full, dirty bathrooms, condiments spilled on the floor in front of the main counter. I understand that labor is a challenge these days, but the restaurant appeared to have a decent staff. I counted 11 people working behind the counter, and no one came out to clean up the ketchup on the floor. One employee stared straight ahead at a nonexistent customer but ignored the mess. Food took much longer than normal to be prepared, and then was brought out in a dine-in tray rather than carry-out, like it was ordered. I then watched the employees hastily pick up each item with gloves (that may have been who knows how old and dirty) and put the food into a to-go bag. Cheese curd falls on the counter? Just pick it up and toss it in. This all occurred in front of me, behind the main counter. If small details are being missed in the bathrooms and dining area, I’m afraid that details are being missed in the food preparation process...
Read moreYou know, I don't generally leave negative reviews. I worked in fast food for several years. It's hard, it's thankless, and rush time sucks. But I am so angry and disappointed.
You are running a restaurant where there is an expectation of a certain turnaround window. This Culver's was fully staffed - 2 people on registers, one person cleaning and at least 3 people cooking and another manning the drive. I expect a delay in my order when it's busy. A delay is not 45 minutes. That is unacceptable. Chicken tenders and a salad should have been 8 minutes in the fryer and pull the salad out of the cooler. You add rush, I expect that to take 20 minutes, max. 45 minutes and we got no food, and we weren't the only ones sitting in the dining room that long with nothing. We had to leave without eating so we could make our appointment in Des Moines. I wouldn't have chosen to eat here if I expected it to take almost an hour to not even have the food yet. What a colossal disappointment and waste of time. Keep the money, Culver's. I'm never coming back to this...
