Great place to stay if you need a quick driving break. The price was reasonable at $55 for one person and $85 for 3 people. I wouldn't recommend it for a family stay. I was concerned about a few things here including: The window to the room was hard to close and was left slightly open. They are using a 220 outlet with no cover and plugs into the wall. (see photos) The back door to the main entrance was propped open and was difficult to close and lock. (safety) They were offering to use a gallon of milk for coffee/cream and cereal instead of individual containers. (contamination) Great location on the main highway and cheap rates. I will NEVER stay here again due to poor conditions and safety issues.

The hotel was in a location we needed. We called and the staff was able to get us connecting rooms. The hotel pool is CLOSED by the health department. It was a huge bummer. We were not notified. We talked to the staff at the front desk. They said that the pool heater happened to break the day we got there. It seemed fishy. And plus if it was the heater that broke today... why would there be a sign from the health department on Thanksgiving Day??? VERY FISHY. One of the rooms was fine but the other room the sink spit all over and the tub didn't plug (which was a problem considering that the pool was broken). We have some very disappointed kids.

Scammed us out of paying double by cancelling our reservation then charging us a 2nd time for our stay. Breakfast is not as pictured online. About half of what's pictured is actually available. Woke up to a giant infestation of ants. Tub water was coming out brown. Staff didn't seem trained well.

Upon check-in, the clerk put my credit-card style key in a sleeve that was already used. That was my first warning that something was weird. I asked for first floor, but was given 2nd floor. NO ELEVATOR! Had to drag my suitcases up and down a large flight of stairs. Upon entering my room, the room was HOT because neither the fan nor the A/C had been turned on, and I was hit with a stench of "stink" that resembled mold, bad breath, and smelly socks! I immediately turned on the A/C and opened the window, but had to keep it propped open the entire time I was there with the ice container (because the window wanted to fall closed). The bathroom was abhorrent. Not only was their much damage to caulk in shower, the adhesive "mat" in the tub was lifting and it was covered in an "orange" moldy film. I did not go in to sponge bathe myself from the outside of the tub. The shower curtain held the mold smell as well (due to lack of being laundered regularly and/or replaced). It made using the toilet in the same room almost punishing! I had to hold my breath whenever I was in there. I had to drive into town to purchase Lysol and Febreeze to be able tolerate the odor. I still didn't complain because THIS was my FREE ROOM with Choice Hotels, and I figured "beggars can't be choosers". However, at 9:00 p.m. when I finally tried to relax at and turn on the TV, it wouldn't work. So, I went downstairs to get new batteries for the remote control. I figured it was appropriate now to report to the hotel's owner and the front desk clerk my complaints about the room's mold and stench. Neither apologized nor offered to move me to...

Ok...so the people were nice, and there is a lot of grass for your pet to go play in. However, this is where stuff goes off the rails. The whole place has been "remodeled. Apparently by methed-out first time construction workers. The whole place has an oder and dampness that you can't escape. The textured walls have been painted an enticing color reminiscent of well used diapers, but so poorly that you can see underlying remnants of other color. All fixtures in the bathroom are mismatched chrome and brass with flaking finishes. The toilet is mounted so close to the side wall that you are forced to lean to the side to do your business. The tub and shower have cracked and peeling grout. The bottom of the doors have obvious water damage, the wall mounted bathroom fan seems to have been removed from a haunted mental institution and clearly had not been cleaned in...well..forever? The wall paper is badly installed and bubbling everywhere. The sink is probably meant to be ADA compliant, but my (literally) 5 foot tall girlfriend has to bend over rather drastically to use it. The carpet was damp, the baseboard "trim" was also carpet...of an entirely different color than anything else. Bonus point for not one, but TWO wall mounted trap doors, apparently for accessing plumbing and ???? That were (barely) held in place by wood screws buried in the drywall. Don't forget the very, very low stained drop ceilings, the carpeted sink and vanity area, and the exterior door with no soft close that sounded like a car crash every time it was used. On the other hand, Montana Mike's is 4 minutes away and...

**Not a bad review on the hotel, simply a bad review on the man at the front desk tonight.

I’m not usually one to complain about much but I am extremely dissatisfied by Allen’s performance tonight.

The experience you have here will really depend on when you come. We spent the night Tuesday July 12th 2022 and were greeted by two wonderful people (they seemed like a couple but I’m not entirely sure). I wish I got their names because they were absolutely delightful. They talked to us about our road trip and really made us feel at home. Our door had trouble locking and they took time to help us get it locked. They even reassured us that if anything happened to our stuff it would be their responsibility. A different woman was working when we checked out the next day and she was also very friendly. We were so satisfied with our stay that we decided to come back.

Unfortunately, today (July 20th, 2022) our stay was quite the opposite.

We were unable to get the window to close and Allen (at least that’s what he said his name was) told us there’s nothing he can do to help us but we can call management. He gave me the card to call then as soon as I called I explained the situation. The man on the phone said “Well if the guy at the front desk said he cant do anything to help you then I don’t know how to help you.” His voice sounded the same so I said “Can I ask who I’m speaking with?” To which he laughed and said “it’s the guy at the front desk.” Come on. Why am I getting pranked by the guy supposed to be...
