I'm so livid over my experience tonight at this Subway! I haven't eaten at a Subway in over a year till tonight & I was very sorry I decided to take my family to dinner here! My 15 year old son wanted to eat here tonight because of the buy one foot long w/a drink get a foot long free. First off I have worked in the food service business for over 15 years as a waitress & a bartender so complaining on someone isn't something I ever do! 2nd this complaint is not for the entire subway store just a certain person that really ruined my subway experience & the way I look at Subway & how they operate!
I went there tonight knowing I needed 6 subs & 3 drinks. I knew exactly what subs I wanted & what was to go on them. The girl asking me what bread & meat I wanted was very nice, sweet & very professional. Very respectful with great customer service. She kept a smile on her face the entire time I was there! The girl at the cash register that rung my order up was also very nice, sweet & smiled the entire time. The girl in the middle was a completely different story! She was so rud & didn't pay attention to anything that was going on or being said. I had 2 set of subs that were the same. 2 meatball & 2 chicken sweet onion teriyaki. The meat ball was correct just because the first girl that did the bread put them together. The 2 teriyaki the middle girl with the short red hair & green or blue eyeshadow did & she didn't pay attention to a word my husband said because it some how ended up with mushrooms on both of them. Now for the final remaining subs. This is were it went form bad to absolutely terrible! The first 4 subs were complet then for some reason she just decided that my 3rd chicken teriyaki sub was done & wraps it up to put in the bag. At this time the girl that asked what bread is completing my 6th sub correctly. Then I ask the girl with the short red hair why she packed my sandwich up because it wasn't done. She gave me this rud confused look then jerks my sub out of the bag very harshly unwrapped it & just gave me a very hateful look pretty much asking what else I wanted on it! Then when I tell her she starts throwing ingredients on there & then soaks the side of my sandwich with oil & vinager! To wrap it she didn't even close it! She pretty much crushed it then wrapped it! Needles to say my sub was horrible with soggy bread! I literally wasted $29.05 that I could have taken to Firehouse Subs & got a sandwich I could have eaten & enjoyed along with good customer service from all the employees!
I will never waste my time or money going to this Subway ever again! I know these employees worked hard there entire shift! I'm a very nice respectful person till I'm crossed with disrespect & rudeness especially when a place is taking my money! If that girl doesn't like her job dealing with people & sometimes working long hard hours then the food service is not a business she needs to be in! It's a person like that that will ruin a reputation for a business in a hart beat! I know I will never go back there because of her & I will tell everyone about what happened! It takes one person to tell 10 people who those 10 people tell 10 more! I know the difference between great, good, bad & terrible customer service & in this store from one girl with a bad attitude & a chip on her shoulder I got extremely terrible service & paid $30 for it! Never again will that happen to me or my family from a Subway again! I'm extremely upset & disappointed from my visit I decided to take to this Subway tonight! The restaurant was updated not long ago…it’s sleek and clean…but our latest experience with them was like dealing with a toddler. 3 of my 4 items ordered online were wrong. When I called back up to speak to a manager I was disrespected by the young girl who answered (she answered hello laughing…I asked to speak to the manager on duty, she got attitude repeating me, so I continued to verify this is Subway correct bc that’s not what you said answering the phone…she then laid the phone down & said bye). The manager got on the phone, we discussed how the order was incorrect and then she tells me all she can do is remake the order if we come up now to get it. I worked my errands around picking up dinner so I can get my daughter to bed, so nah, that doesn’t work. She tells me her owner will be back in town on Monday and they will contact me then. Cool, I wait. Only they don’t. So I fill out the online survey Tuesday night. Finally get a half hearted response, where they feel like they only need to replace one of the items. (Owner’s response: They missed 2 slices of cheese on a salad, added items to a sub they shouldn’t have and didn’t make a sandwich a melt like requested…they offered to replace only the melt). I didn’t pay for them to guess what my family would want to eat, even though that could be a fun game, I expected to receive what I ordered. I usually have a great experience here. And I will continue to go. But today horrible. The lady doing the salad area for the subs ruined my sub and still made me pay for it instead of offering to remake it. Put lettuce on my teriyaki sandwich that was correct then asked for ranch. She grabbed the ranch that was fine then I said can you please put very light oil and vinegar she proceeds to grab the mayo and put mayo on my sandwich and I said no, ma’am I said, very light oil and vinegar after she literally just started putting the mayo on my sandwich I was like, looking at her like that’s not what I said And she just Looked at me and was like sorry and I was like I said very light oil and vinegar. She grabs the oil and vinegar and drowns my sandwich. And they still made me pay for the sub. So I’m going to throw away the sandwich and now I have to figure out a different meal for me tonight. I did call the manager afterwards and she offered to remake the sub after I had left already because there was a line to the door and didn’t wanna make my family wait on eating their hot subs because the lady didn’t want to listen. Plus who knows how long that would have taken. I’ve never had a problem with this place and I will continue to go however, they really need to reconsider working staff. If they cannot handle a rush they can sit out if they need to. Ruined my dinner...
