The food at Carmine's is nothing short of spectacular. Each dish is crafted with care and precision, reflecting the expertise of the talented cooks in the kitchen. The menu is diverse and filled with delicious options, but there are a few standout items that deserve special mention.
First and foremost, the pizza at Carmine's is phenomenal. The crust is perfectly crisp, the sauce is flavorful, and the toppings are fresh and generous. It's easily some of the best pizza I've ever had. Whether you prefer a classic Margherita or something more adventurous, every bite is a delight.
The meatballs are another highlight. Tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection, they are a testament to the culinary skill and dedication to quality that defines Carmine's.
Beyond the fantastic food, the service is impeccable. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring every guest has a memorable experience. They strike the perfect balance between being attentive and giving you space to enjoy your meal.
A special shoutout goes to Costa, the owner, who does an outstanding job managing the establishment. Read moreWe had a fantastic dinner here. (First time at this restaurant and never there when it was a pizzeria). Don’t let the fact that it is in a strip center fool you into thinking it’s anything but a really nice interior. It definitely has the feeling of being downtown once you were inside. The layout, lighting, fixtures, etc., are top-notch.
There is a full bar with lots of wine choices. I had the Greek red and it was very good. We really enjoyed the appetizer of the spreads (hummus, baba, and tzatziki ). The pita was warm and grilled. 4 of us shared it and it was a nice start. We also had an order of the grilled chicken wings, which were charbroiled and very tasty. The feta fries, though good, weren’t what we were expecting. But we ate them all anyway! All of the entrees with grilled toppings were excellent. The grilled shrimp , grilled salmon and grilled chicken souvlaki were delicious. The Greek salad was amazing. Everything was very fresh and tasty. The restaurant had only been open a month but it felt like they were there forever. The place was packed but we were served in a timely fashion and courses were paced well. The deserts were excellent. We had the baklava and the chocolate torte with ice cream. Such a great ending. Noise level was very high at the beginning. Hard to have a conversation but we were told there would be sound abatement soon. Once the restaurant cleared out a little, it was better. The owners worked the crowd and made you feel like family. We definitely plan to go back. You could have a full three course meal or just go in for a burger and fries or a pizza. Next time I want to try the pizza. It looked...
Read moreLet me preface this by saying that yesterday the 10th of April was my first time at carmine's. The food was good and the prices reasonable however the server/ bartender with the right eyebrow piercing made the experience incredibly uncomfortable and unenjoyable for my girlfriend and I. I was facing towards the entrance of the restaurant and my girfriend was facing towards the bar. So I could only see him when he walked over to our table to check on us. For some reason he took this opportunity to stare and check out my girlfriend for the entire duration of our meal. Now besides the fact that my girlfriend and I are together and wearing rings so we're obviously together I dont see why any employee would go out of his way to flirt with and make a customer uncomfortable. He even went so far as to wink at my girlfriend then immediately after he came over to take the check and money and decided to try to get a tip, by standing there for several seconds after saying he could come back with the change. I really really really dont think its morally right or fair to try to get a tip out of me after making my girfriend uncomfortable during our meal. In summation the bartender/ server went out of his way to be gross and unprofessional. If it wasn't for him we would certainly be back because the other staff was lovely and the food was very good. But I can not in good conscience support a business and an employee who thinks its okay to go out of their way to make customers uncomfortable, to be grossly disrespectful and to neglect their job in favor of hitting...
