Came to Casey's with my fiancee to have lunch with his children & his grandchildren. There were 6 adults and 5 grandkids (7 to 18m). We called ahead at the last minute and were pleased that Casey's were able to accommodate us with no problem. (Other establishments that we called were unable to accommodate a party of this size.) Upon are arrival, we were immediately seated and our waitress was there to promptly take our orders. Throughout our time there the wait staff was attentive, and the beverages and meals were quickly brought out. I ordered a blackened chicken sandwich on a seeded roll with melted cheese and roasted red peppers with fries ... it was very good! The chicken was not overly spicy and was tender and juicy. The portion was generous and I ended up taking half home. My fiancee had a grilled chicken caesar salad which he said was good, especially the chicken. The rest of the party had burgers or a wrap/sandwiche of some kind with kids having chicken tenders or mac & cheese. Everybody appeared to enjoy their meal, even the kids ate well. The interior to me seemed to be a little on the dark side, but it does give a sense of coziness. There is a full bar and a number of large booths that looked to easily fit 6 adults (we fit 2 adults, 3 older children and several large gift bags easily). Avg price ~$12pp for the adults. Overall, this was an enjoyable experience and I would not hesitate to...
Read moreCame here with a great friend of mine on the evening of 3/10/20. We both were welcomed by the host and then greeted by our server who was friendly and professional. We both started off with two drinks, the Black Berry Bourbon Lemonade, a good recommendation by our server. Then we each started off with Shrimp Lejon, the shrimp were crispy & hot, served with a nice sauce, very unique style and were wrapped in bacon. Then we had crab stuffed mushrooms which were prepared to perfection and were absolutely delicious. Then for our entrees we chose the Chicken Chesapeake, it was definitely a different dish and my friend recommended it since he had it in the past, it was very good. Then the evening ended with two Creme Brulees, which were out of this world good. I first off want to commend management and our server and the kitchen team for everything they did. It was a great visit to Casey's after 10 years. One thing I would like to point out as I am a Culinarian & Foodie, when my friend and I were leaving I said to the older female blonde hostess with glasses, have a good night, I was alittle shocked that she didn't respond since she was too busy on her phone, I wanted to make this abundantly clear that it's unacceptable to be on your phone while working especially in Restaurant & Hospitality Industry. Other than that it was a nice evening. I Highly Recommend Casey's...

Ha!
You. Have. To. Try… Casey’s Public House! Yeah…. Definitely!
Man oh man, was the crab cake on a potato bun the best served up for me since broadening from the Chesapeake vicinities. Combined with amply toasted fries, plenty of delish good aioli, and the time passed here with my peep, The Consiglieri Cerelli, making some new friends, with pure aplomb.
Started with a bit of the Manhattan clam chowder (hot and savory, multiplications of veggies), and ensuing enjoying a club soda with cranberry juice — altogether made this unplanned leisurely luncheon before heading to boxing 🥊 training a very unique moment during this weekend’s road trip.
Stylish without pretentious, this here Casey’s is your place to respite. Eclectic crowd, smiles, laughs, a few grimaces (blame that on me & Cerelli 🙃). Outside covered stable of tables for nice days like today. Or straight up comfortable seats at the bar with Cool Penni & her lovely cohort of bar-angels shaking the mood. Easy, no stress. Just as it should be for an out of town guy like… well… “me”. 😎
See ya my next time in Havertown/Philly,...
