Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Nicholasville

The chicken looked petrified and black from where it had been setting for some time, over half of the chicken had to be spit out after finding out that it had turned to leather. Got 2 other meals along with a salad and didn't receive one fork. It seems these people that work here are just lazy and do the bare minimum to get things turned over. I was even uphold on fries and was disappointed to find out that those were old and very soggy, mind you I pulled immediately into a parking spot to eat so it's not that the steam from sitting did this. Not to mention how sparingly they used the sauce to roll the chicken fingers in, I think if they would have adequately coat the chicken the leather finish would have been less noticeable. Issues like this I believe tend lie in management as there were multiple problems coming from different parts of the process to get me my food, either keep employees motivated and taking pride in their work or hire good ones in the first place. My wife and I eat here multiple times a week. We always use the app. Recently they changed the policy so that app users cannot use the drive thru. There was no one in the drive thru and they told her at the speaker she had to come inside. So, because she was alone, my 8 month pregnant wife had to get out of her car in 100 degree summer heat to go inside and fill her own drinks and pickup the food instead of being handed it through the drive thru.

An INSANE choice when places like Chic Fil A make it as easy and quick as possible to use the app, Zaxby's is going backwards?

Also the price has jumped lately. Attaching a picture of my 4 piece Chicken Finger Plate, asked for Large which includes extra fries for .80, and asked for no cole slaw with extra fries and I was given almost no fries. I didn't complain the first time, when we made it home and my wife had to throw her salad away it was wilted so bad. I thought we would try our luck again, this is what I received for around 8 dollars. The chicken in the middle had been broke in half, not sure who ate the other half. My wife ordered a salad, to discover there was any utensils to cut it with. I ask for a couple salt packages, they were out. Canes is right up the street not even a mile. Save yourself a headache, I was bringing my wife home from eye surgery, she hadn't ate since midnight. I definitely let her down, stopped and picked up a pizza. I know the owner Great woman, my wife cousins. Hopefully someday she will understand her franchise isn't being cared for as it once was. We were the only car there, Cane was wrapped and lot was full.
