EJ's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Niles Township

The lemonade slushie machine was sitting there with mold in it. If it was down for cleaning I get that, but there was chalk board advertising the lemonade. Don't leave it out and it should never reach the point where it has mold in it..( I'll post a pic)

Mac and cheese was luke warm almost cold and for $4.50 seems a bit much it was really only a small plate of Mac an cheese, very bland , hardly any cheese..

( it honestly looked like Kraft Mac and cheese it was slapped on a plate and shipped out)

Seems they have salads but they used canned ingredients, so if you'rer charging 10 bucks for salad. I would at least do food prep and not canned food. (Saw them open a can and pour it into a container in the Salad station)

Seems like your paying downtown​ prices for cafeteria food.

Garlic knots we're good tho.(came out fast so I'm sure they thawed then cooked it but they were good.

Pizza was doughy, we ordered it with pineapple (I was with friends that like it so I gave it a try) the pineapple was in large Chunks so again it was canned, chunks don't cook correctly. The pizza will burn before That even browns, because of the high water content

They gave us one of those disks that vibrate when your foods ready which is honestly ridiculous. This is a small restaurant and they were calling orders out by name so i don't understand why they would even need that system also it never rang when our food was done, he just called it out and we picked up from the window.

This is overpriced...

Took 25 minutes to get thru to order on the phone, kept being put on hold (and my choice of toppings was questioned! Just take the order dear.) Then I had to call back for a pick up time, fine. I know there are new-ish owners. 45 minutes (Motzai Shabbat) later, my husband went to pick it up. After waiting 20 minutes, while phone answering young lady was too busy answering the phones, he finally yelled at her, telling her OUR pizza is now iced cold, which is exactly what he brought home. Either get more staff, or don't open. Why can't kosher pizza p/u places EVER get it right? We settle for SO MUCH LESS in Chicago, it's pitiful. Cross THIS place...
