Following my experience with Ken's Diner & Grill, I discovered Sarah's Brick Oven listed within the 'People also viewed' section of its yelp page. Out of several other restaurants listed, Sarah's was the only one that captured my interest, plus it was a restaurant that I had not visited before in Skokie.
Sarah's Brick Oven itself is linked to Sarah's Tent, a market for kosher products that is located where Oakton St connects with N Crawford Ave in Skokie. And in spite of it being connected to Sarah's Tent, there is an acceptable number of parking spots available.
After entering and having plenty of time to look at the menu above the counter, and even on the laminated menu, I was acknowledged shortly after the customer ahead of me had finished ordering. I took an interest in the impossible burger after contemplating between the truffle mac & pizza, and the norma jean burger after I noticed that the impossible burger came with barbecue, onion rings, and served on a pretzel bun! And it was completed within a reasonable timeframe.
I opted out of dine-in, choosing to take my order to go because I had errands I needed to complete, plus I did not want to be in the area long. Moreover, the restaurant appeared clean, and the atmosphere gave off a very relaxed vibe. There were a number of tables with seats inside of the dining area, and I must say that I adored the interior, and the ceiling decoration which gave off sukkot vibes.
As for the food, other than my jaw popping because I had to open my mouth wide to take a bite of that stacked impossible burger, I enjoyed the satisfying taste of it once I had gotten settled in for the evening. It was delicious! And I most definitely recommend it if you are having trouble identifying something to try on the menu at Sarah's.
Being that I had a good experience, I would gladly re-visit Sarah's Brick Oven again whenever in the Skokie area. Or maybe I will just make a visit solely for it, tehehe.

Read moreOne star is generous for what we had experienced . We have had the worst experience and have been yelled at and insulted by staff. The behind the counter people have the worst attitude and seem to be openly hateful to their customers. Moreover, the person who called himself a mashgiach - after we asked who he is. Was unprofessional and inappropriate. The long story short we came close to their closing time and ordered food . We asked them if we would have enough time to eat and we even looked at each other and were ready to leave if they had told us that they are closed. But they had proceeded and said yes you can order and eat here. We didn’t think much of it because in all restaurants the kitchen usually closes 30 minutes before the dining room. So we sat down , the server brought our order fairly quickly but our pizza was still in the making. At the time our food just arrived, the person who later called himself a mashgiach, came up to us and said you have 5 minutes to get out of here. At first we were stunned, so I asked him who he was and told him that he was impolite, and can’t ask people to leave after they just sat down and the rest of the order didn’t even come up. The gentleman then went to “consult “ with people behind the counter, and started yelling at us calling us liars, saying “ you are liars ! They had told you that we close at 8 o’clock! “ “get out of here and never come back !” I was speechless and my son started saying “ mommy can we please go”. It all happened pretty quickly and was escalated and instigated by the people who I would not even hire to do anything, because their attitudes are not appropriate or suitable for people working in the service industry . I forgot to mention that there were other customers at the restaurant at the time who witness this whole embarrassing ordeal. This type of encounter requires further investigation and possible consequences if not for employees then for the whole establishment. You have no right to treat...

The price is somewhat fuller, but still within reason. We spent almost $100 for 4 people. I wouldn't order the float drinks at $6.99 again - I am tempted to show them my smoothies recipes which I like more. Even so, main course and side dishes were fine.
I had a Spicy tuna pizza down in Hollywood, Florida at Cafe Noir, with a chocolate latte - absolutely amazing flavors on several levels, so I am wondering if they have anything as good At Sarah's Brick Oven? I Will try other options as time goes on in the hope of discovering a new great meal.
A big plus for me is the restaurant observes Yoshon.
The restaurant is under 1 year old, draws a large crowd, with plenty of younger and single people as well...
