Tsaocaa Bubble Tea & Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Niles Township

I visited here for the first time last night, and upon entering it was crazy busy. I could tell the workers were overwhelmed, but I was patient with them. I repeated my order several times to the cashier which I didn't mind because 1 - it was noisy af and 2 - she seemed new and was having issues finding the items I wanted to order off the register. I also paid with cash when told that was the only option even though I had witnessed the customer before me pay with card. After the transaction, I was given no receipt or order #.

Probably the only thing impressive was how quickly they got my drink orders done. I didn't think the drinks they brought up were mine since it was quick + I had no order # to go by, but I could tell the worker was getting annoyed and impatient when no one was coming up. The worker must have remembered the order was mine because she suddenly pointed at me and said "This is you." in a rude tone.

I wished I had paid attention at the fact my order was wrong. They made one drink a large when both should have been medium, and one drink was missing tapioca. No idea if I was charged for the large or the tapioca since I had no receipt. Once I realized it, I was already heading home. Probably wouldn't have bothered though considering how mean the worker was.

I'm sure on a slower day, they may be pleasant and will get an order right. I don't think the rude behavior excuses the poor work practices and how you speak towards...

First time ordering from a Tsaocaa and it was awesome! In my opinion the best bubble tea in Niles Illinois!

When you walk in you will notice a very spacious ordering area, definitely can accommodate 20 people comfortably. Ordering kiosks are right at the door if you would like to order on your own.

Right now Tsaocaa is having a soft opening, I would suggest you order in person that way you will get a more personalized drink selection. We ordered a couple of drinks the grapefruit & peach with jelly, and the peach oolong with nata. The person mixing our drinks asked if he could add a couple of extra toppings so that we could try it out. The drinks were very flavorful, the tea was strong but not to the point of being bitter, the mix was incredibly well done. The person mixing our drinks was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the types of drinks he offered. He even asked if we wanted to try some milk tea. For those who are allergic to diary or lactose intolerant, this place has non diary milk tea! So go ahead and try those milk teas without worry!

Last note. The egg waffle that we had was pork and seaweed, my daughter said it was "supper yummy".

Update: I changed my rating from 2 stars to 4 because of the fantastic response from the store! That’s what I call great customer service. Honestly, they excel at fulfilling single orders. Their Korean hot dogs are amazing. I had the full mozzarella one, and it was delicious. The bubble waffle was also very good. The first time I tried their brown sugar bubble tea, it was absolutely incredible! I've attached a picture.

The first time I ordered from them, it was amazing. The second time, it was even better. So, I decided to order for the entire family, spending about $115. Unfortunately, they missed the tapioca in the brown sugar bubble tea. The mango puree milk with bubbles didn’t have the right type of tapioca, and it lacked the mango flavor; it just tasted like milk. I am beyond upset and disappointed.

I understand that everyone gets exhausted and tired. I've been there myself. However, that's no excuse for making the drinks incorrectly. I spoke very highly of this place to my family, and the disappointment I felt when they said it didn’t taste like mango, didn’t have tapioca, and was labeled incorrectly is overwhelming.
