This is one of the earlier style McDonald's. When I stopped here, they were very busy. There was a line for ordering and several guests waiting for take out orders. They do not offer ordering kiosks, so, you have to order at the counter. Standing waiting for an order can be a little inconvenient as new guests are always asking if you are in line to order. You try to stand in an area where you are not in the way, but, there is no room and waiting for food guests get in the way of ordering guests and both get in the way of exiting or entering guests.
I ordered a McRib meal. Normally, the McRib is served in a cardboard box to protect the sandwich. When I received my order, the McRib was wrapped in paper which was not too much of an inconvenience. The McRib itself was not as good as other McRibs I have had. The sauce was very thin, watery and had very little flavor. There were a sufficient amount of onions and pickles. I haven't had any other menu items from this location as this was my first time visiting this McDonald's.
This McDonald's is located in a very busy area and Michigan drivers can be a little less than courteous. Entering or exiting can be a challenge and you may have to wait several minutes to back out of your parking spot or exit...
Read moreIf I could give less than one star I would. I’m pregnant and haven’t been able to eat much. Today, I really wanted McDonald’s. WHAT A MISTAKE. I completed an online order for curbside. After waiting a little over 10 minutes in curbside, a woman walked up, said “here you go” while handing me my food and my sprite that was only filled three quarters of the way, then walked away. I definitely should have checked my food, but figured because there were only 3 items in the bag, that I would be okay. Wrong. I got home, opened the bag, and was missing my fries. No big deal, I thought I would just call the store and get a refund because, again, I’m pregnant and really didn’t feel like running back and forth over French fries. No answer. I had no choice but to go back and ask for fresh food WITH my fries that I ordered. I should have known better and checked the Sprite, too, because after leaving for the SECOND time today, I realized that my “Sprite” was straight seltzer water. My nausea loved that. I ordered and payed through their app. When I arrived the app checked me in (no way to cancel the order after that), but when I got to the drive thru to pick up my order I was informed their systems were down and they wouldn't be able to serve me at all. Please come back later when the systems are back up and they'll be able to get my order for me. Fine, I understand, these things happen. I go back home and call them periodically to check if their computers are online yet. 2 1/2 hours later the answer is finally yes so I return to the restaurant, give them my order number and ask for my order. They say they can't find it in their system. Nothing they can do. Okay, I realize the kid running the register probably doesn't have the training or authority to fix this kind of thing. I ask for a manager and am informed that he won't be in until sometime tomorrow morning, and until then there is nothing they can do. NOTHING.
