Ate here on a mid-week brunch hour. 14 Mill Market is cute and fun even when slow, but we purposely came at this hour so we could finally try the waffles without a huge line.
I got the eggs benedict, because you can really tell a lot by a place's hollandaise.
I expected the food to be good-- the line on the weekend speaks for itself-- but what I got was pretty amazing. The portion size was Ozarks-- two eggs, two waffles, loaded-- and the hollandaise was excellent. If they use a premade packaged sauce, it's a good one; it lacked the chemical flavor that most of those have, so it's quite possible they make it themselves.
I will admit to being surprised by the waffle itself. I was not expecting a sweet waffle as the base, but it wasn't actually a turn off, once I got past the first bite. It was soft but with the crunch of a good waffle and since I enjoy the salty/sweet combo in most things, I liked the juxtaposition. The ham was a perfect amount and the eggs were perfectly medium-- solid white, runny yolk-- that they should be.
I'll definitely be going back to try...
Read moreI hadn’t originally planned to eat here, but after arriving at 14 Mill Market and exploring all the food options, I decided to try Liège Love Waffle Company for lunch. I ordered the Bacon & Ranch Potato, an order of waffle fries, and the Banana Pudding Waffle.
First off, everything looked fantastic, and Dwayne was great to talk to, offering plenty of recommendations. My food took about 12-15 minutes to arrive, and presentation-wise, it was appealing.
The Bacon & Ranch Potato had good flavors, but I found it a bit dry and could have used more toppings to balance it out. I ended up asking for sour cream to enhance the texture. The Banana Cream Waffle was decent, but not quite what I expected. It was dense and chewy rather than light and fluffy, almost to the point where I could roll the center into a ball.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but I probably wouldn’t order the same items again. I’d be open to trying something different next time!

Read moreWe went to Liege Love Waffle Co this weekend and it was delicious!!!! We had the chicken bacon ranch baked potato and a modified Philly cheese steak (minus the peppers and onions and poblano cheese on the side) with homemade ranch. Fam, this food was amazing. Chicken was crispy and moist and the steak was tender and juicy. The serving size was huge. The owners were wonderful, friendly, helpful and accommodating. Can’t wait to go back!! Highly...
