The food was so yummy. There were so many selection in the food court too! I ordered 3 munchies & 1 main dish. They were perfect for my tastebud. I'm so happy there's korean food in Nixa!
I ordered Pork Belly Bao Buns, Cheesy Kimchi Pancakes, Deep Fried Calamaris, and Shrimp Citron! Oh, and 2 drinks - Milk Foam Thai Tea & Purple Yuju Lemon 🍤
Pork Belly Bao Buns ($9) comes with 2 Buns. Super delicious, Pork belly was tender and drunked with their house gochu sauce! ⭐️ 10/10
Cheesy Kimchi Pancake ($9) yummy and very cheesy flavoring. Not as crispy or as big as I'm used to, usually korean grandma's would give you a BIG pancake filled, thick, and crispy! Garlic sauce was SUPERB to dip in! ⭐️ 6.5/10
Deep Fried Calamari ($9) was also very yummy, lightly battered, lightly seasoned, not salty at all but if you want it more salty, you can add salt. The dipping sauce that came with it was superb. Make sure to eat it's fresh hot to get the best experiences of the crunch! ⭐️ 8/10
Shrimp Citron ($15) SUPREME flavor. It was so satisfying to my pallette. The crunch from the deep fried shrimp, the seasons, the dressing, over rice and spring mix. It was so good. Shrimps were big and good textures! ⭐️ 10+/10
Milk Foam Thai Tea was very good. Well made. I can say this is THAI TEA, not watered down, very rich. ⭐️ 10/10
Purple Yuzu Lemon - Very pretty to look at and taste just as good! Taste like Lemonade! Comes with the yuju lemon chunks so make sure you're okay with that in your drinks! I like it with the chunks and then I didn't either! ⭐️ 9/10

Read moreIf you haven't had a Korean corn dog, you have two choices. Go have one and never be able to enjoy any other kind, or... well, that's really the only choice. I mean, you could just not have one but seriously, the deprivation would be senseless when The Gochu can serve you up one of their delightful choices for such a great price! I recommend the spicy (and if you really like it hot, you should know they do have Buldak sauce!), but I'm sure regular is amazing too. We shared a Korean corn dog and an order of the Brisket bulgogi and it was heavenly! We are older and don't eat as much a we used to, but we were stuffed. The vegetables in the bulgogi were cooked to perfection, not too soft, not too crunchy and there was plenty of beef. The drinks were so pretty and even more of a treat than expected. I had the purple yuzu lemon and wow! Don't neglect the bits of citrus! Just wait for that ice to melt and fish those yummy little bits out and eat them. Your taste buds will thank you! I'm looking forward to trying everything on the menu. Now stop reading...
Read moreIt was such a treat to finally enjoy real Korean food again, especially while staying in Missouri for work. The food court was clean and spacious, with plenty of parking — definitely a plus.
I ordered the Jalapeños Pork Belly and the Spicy Seafood Ramen Noodle Soup, and both dishes were absolutely delicious and well-balanced. The pork belly had no gamey smell at all, and the soy sauce based flavor instantly reminded me of Korean jokbal. It was tender, flavorful, and just hit the spot.
The spicy seafood ramen was loaded with seafood, veggies, and kimchi, making it taste like a lighter, cleaner version of Korean-style jjamppong. As a Korean, it wasn’t too spicy for me — but it definitely had that authentic flavor I’ve been missing. Honestly, it felt more like real Korean food compared to many other places in Springfield.
Highly recommend if you’re craving something...
