Not’cho Ordinary Taco — Restaurant in Nixa

We went to the 14 Mill Street venue. Good and pricey food (6 tacos, 2 drinks, chips and dip for nearly $50) but the "acting" manager was so concerned about company policy and holding to the rules with the six pack special that she didn't care about the customer's ACTUAL order. We wanted three of two different kinds of tacos and were told we could not order that with the special. Instead, we HAD to order no more than two of the same taco. Nothing like telling the customer what they HAVE to order when the customer is PAYING for the food. Very frustrating experience. She could have listened to what we wanted, suggested that we simply buy two trays of the sets of three and then offer a chips purchase with either cheese dip or salsa, but she didn't. She was more interested in telling us what we couldn't have than trying to help us wade through the menu to order what we actually wanted. I wrote a review back to TOAST and had hoped to hear from the owner, Casey, but there was no follow-up there. This company really needs to work on communication - from listening, to problem solving, to following up. Their creativity is no longer limited to the four walls of their box truck and they have no fear in letting it flourish-- sticking to their mission of being "not ordinary"!! I would absolutely NEVER eat from this restaurant again. I was so excited to try this place and ordered two orders of tacos. I was then texted 15 minutes later that my food was ready. That was unfortunately not the case. I was assured for the next 30 minutes that it was not yet ready. After about 30 minutes the worker then realized that the food that had been setting in the expo window for the entire time actually was my food. But even then, it wasn’t. The food they said was “mine” was not what I ordered but they substituted the toppings I ordered with tomatoes instead for me (I hate tomatoes).
