My family and I have gone to the the Nashville locations multiple times. We decided to go to the noblesville location this time. Im not sure if this is a franchised location or not but the food did not seem to be up to the same level that we've had in Nashville. The breadsticks are not the same, soft breadsticks that you get in nashville. Noblesville served us some sort of flattened bread that was crunchy and just didn't taste good. We have always finished two orders of those really quick but we left a few this time because they were gross. My daughters kids pizza was on the same type of bread which she only ate a couple bites. On top of that we ordered a hand tossed pizza and got a pizza that was half paper thin and the other half thick pan style. Spending $50 on a meal of this low quality is absurd! I wish I would have gotten a picture of the pizza also.

We were here for about 2.5 hours due to the slow service. Our 2 year old was going bonkers. Our server our waitress was doing the best she could but overwhelmed. It was well understaffed, but it was not busy and a Monday... I waited an hour to order a second beer. Food was longer. Simple example is every table in the dining room was unbussed for over an hour around us. Food was really bad. We had a couple apps which were just not great. The $16.99 cowboy grilled chicken sandwich we split was atrocious. The chicken was straight rubber and the bacon had been sitting under a hot lamp all day. You can see our chewed on food. The beer was fantastic! Food has major quality issues. Ownership needs to brake on the bottom line and understand every person in your dining room was looking around at each other thinking the same thing, “wtf is going on”.

So much promise, just didn’t deliver. Super sad, seems nothing in that location lasts. Its an ideal spot, tucked off 146th and not a ton of restaurants unless your drive down to Keystone/Meridian. 1. Pretzel was doughy and not fully cooked. Not sure how I felt about the beer cheese, it was okay. 2. Pizza, thin crust, but had 1/2 an inch of cheese. Was like eating a giant mozzarella stick. It was almost like the used the same quantity for their normal pizzas on the thin crust. Dough/crust was good. Sauce was good. 3. Tacos were okay accordingly to the wife. 4 pizza and fries. Might want to change the oil for the fries. Kid only ate one slice. Not a fan. 5. Salad okay The reason it’s getting 3 stars was the server was awesome. Also they ran out of food items on the menu.

Big Woods - Noblesville, IN

I've been to Big Woods in Noblesville four times over the years, hoping it would grow on me, but unfortunately, my experience has been consistently underwhelming.

The atmosphere is fairly plain, lacking any memorable character. The decor is simple, with tables and chairs made from branches as the only "Big Woods" feel. While there are lots of TVs for sports, a large bar, and a sectional-style waiting area, it lacks the warmth and uniqueness that the previous restaurant here had. The former spot had a large, low chalkboard for kids, toys, a dollhouse, and a raised fire pit in the entryway—features that created a welcoming, family-friendly vibe. Now, it just feels very basic.

As for the food, it was a mix of hits and misses. My HT Bourbon Glazed Salmon with jasmine rice and brussels sprouts had some highlights; the salmon was cooked perfectly, and the sweet-spicy sauce had a nice kick balanced by the rice. But the brussels sprouts were soaked in a similar sauce, making the dish overly sweet and overpowering. My husband had the pulled pork tacos, and unfortunately, he found them mostly greasy and lacking in flavor.

On the positive side, the appetizers were a hit! I ordered the Quaff On IPA, which was delicious, and we started with the pretzel and beer cheese. The pretzel was large, served hanging on a hook, and the beer cheese was excellent. We also enjoyed the truffle Parmesan fries, which were flavorful and crispy. My daughter had the buffalo chicken pizza, and her boyfriend ordered the maple bourbon chicken sandwich with fries; both enjoyed their meals.

In summary, while some of the food stands out, the overall experience still feels too generic, especially compared to the cozy charm this location once had. I wish Big Woods would consider bringing back a bit of...

I don't know how you can go above 4 stars. I am being nice at 4 stars I'm more at 3.5! It's unfortunate because this place has one of the best looking menues I've seen so I was super excited!

We got the recommended dishes from our server. She was attentive and sweet, service was great

Fish and chips w aoli fries- really good fish and chips but definitely needed a bit more seasoning. The batter they used was fresh and crunchy. While the fish was white and flakey in the middle. Cooked perfectly but again I could have used a bit more flavor.in the batter or tartar sauce. Now the fries were the highlight. I think they double blanch them because they are crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle! W great flavor!!! 4.5 just needed a bit more. But at the end of the day it's just fish and chips. 15 plus dollars....

Now the most amazing looking burger on the menu was a completely let down. Candied bacon, carmelized onions, garlic aioli, white cheddar, balsamic , on a brioche bun! Sounds amazing but the only flavor you taste is the candied bacon... I was so confused how the sandwhichs lacked flavor. They don't season the meat, couldn't tast the garlic aioli, carmelized onions barely came through... I had to dip it in ketchup.... I don't even dip my fries in ketchup! Side not bacons was fiiire. This get a 3 at best. 16 bucks I definitely felt a lil ripped off w that one. Want a great 12 dollar burger go to bru burger and get the bru burger lol.Way better and cheaper!

Than we were recommended the macoroni... Absolutely ghastly. So flavorless we couldn't eat more than a bite of america's favorite food haha. The macoroni was truly shocking. Literally 0 out of 5 so bad!

They are a brewery and distillery so we tried some cinnamon vodka and peanut butter whiskey... Those...

We went to Big Woods on a Sunday at 12:50pm- party of 4. I would say it was somewhat busy but there were mostly empty tables around the area we were sitting. Our server came by about 10 minutes after being seated and took our order. We ordered the pretzel and beer cheese appetizer, 2 sandwiches/burgers, and a kids meal. We waited for 1 hour and hadn’t received even the pretzel appetizer. The waiter came by several times and kept saying they are so busy and that our food was “coming out next.” My husband and I are not the type of people to complain about anything at restaurants. But after one hour with nothing at our table, we decided to start packing up to leave. The waiter came by again and we asked if the pretzel was ready at least. He brought the pretzel out within minutes of asking. Then he promised our food was coming out soon. Another 15 minutes goes by and it’s 2:15pm. We decide to head home and ask the hostess if we can get the check to pay for just the pretzel. And magically our waiter comes out and asks if we still want our food and that they can box it up to-go. The waiter said the food will be free. So we said yes. Another 10 minutes of waiting for the food to be boxed up and we were finally out of that place by about 2:30pm.

Food review- the pretzel by itself was fine and the beer cheese was grainy and cold. We ate the other food when we got home. The fries were good but the bread on both the burger and chicken sandwiches were soggy.

I visited this place a few months before with some girlfriends and had a similar experience with waiting too long for food, but I wanted to give it another chance. Unfortunately, we will not recommend Big Woods to anyone and we will...
