So, I usually don’t write reviews but this is just a strange situation that I wanted to share. I walked into Chipotle and the workers greeted me with a big smile and served me my food. The food portions were fantastic and the food was good. Yet, when I was paying for my food I had a promotion that included Chips and a dipping for free. I told the clerk and even showed her the QR code that specifically said at the top “free chips & side” and even told her out loud “I have a free chips and side” and then proceeded to scan the QR code. The clerk packed my food (just my entree) and gave me my bag. So I asked “where is my chips?” which then the clerk threw at me, and then I proceeded to ask “where is my guac?”. This is where things took a wild turn, she proceeded to tell me that I only BOUGHT chips and it was MY fault for not telling her. I was confused as she scanned AND saw my QR code for the free promotion. This is where I showed her my QR code AGAIN, and she STILL proceeded to blame me because I didn’t tell her. This was super confusing to me, because at first I took this as a complete mistake and there was no one to blame for this situation but I was blamed for some reason by this clerk… the wonderful manager came to resolve the situation (shout out to him, he was really nice and even apologized for the incident) and gave me my guac for free. Yet, not before the clerk started talking out loud again telling the manager how it was MY fault for not telling her about the promotion when I clearly did. Accidents happen, employees are human and I am very respectful to them when accidents happen and try to communicate with them when something happens… yet, it was a very unfortunate situation that the clerk blamed me in front of everyone for an accident that could’ve been...

The food is really hit or miss though. We went when it first opened and everything was terrible so we waited a few months for them to train up and get better.
After a few months I ordered a burrito online for the drive through pickup, arrived at the specified time, then they told me it will be another 15 minutes when I got to the window. Then they disappeared without saying anything else but a few minutes later they handed me the food. When I got home everything was ice cold and soggy from the salsa leaking everywhere. I submitted a complaint on their website and never heard back.
We’ve been 2 more times since then, the first was probably the best Chipotle burrito and bowl we’ve had in a long time. The second had so much gristle in the meat, half of it was inedible.

Read morewhen i went most tables were clean but it took a while to order as they were doing something in the back while another dude was measuring the temps of the foods. not a big deal, but when ordering i asked for no queso and the cashier ended up charging all three bowls for queso. before payment, i told her that we didnt get queso and she firmly responded, “there was queso on all three bowls”. like girl do you think i dont know MY OWN ORDER. UGHHHHHHH. and then we ended up getting a refund for one queso, should be two but i guess they could only do the higher priced side instead of both…. so they refunded us FOR LESS than they should have. gave slightly more than most chipotles tho (good portions).
update- we went again and this time customer service was way better and everyone was nice. so ig it was just...
