Antojitos Mexicanos — Restaurant in Nogales

This is my favorite local Mexican restaurant in Nogales. I've gotten the Antojitos burrito with red sauce and it is wonderful. The friendly service and scratch made food keeps everyone coming back for more. The prices are very reasonable and I doubt if I could cook it at home any cheaper. The menu is very basic and nothing fancy but I didn't see anyone that wasn't enjoying their food. All the customers around me were remarking how good it was. Treat yourself or your friends and family to a great meal. The memory of that great burrito haunted me and a couple of days ago I went back again. It was the same friendly service as before and I just couldn't resist ordering another Antojintos Burrito with the red sauce. I looked around to see what others were having and it all looked so good. The urge was just to order one of everything and not cook for a week, but I was able to resist. In a very short time my burrito arrived and somehow it looked even bigger than I remembered. Wow. I had ordered the steak version and was pleasantly surprised to find the chunks of steak perfectly cooked. It was moist and tender, and wasn't the dry shoe-leather style so many restaurants serve you. There were nice chunks of avacado, and not a smear of thin guacamole dressing. The filling was well balanced which made for each bite to be delicious. It hard to find any criticism here. Check out the pic of my order and be thinking of when you're going to come and...

Tiny joint. You might be out off because what seems like the front door is chained closed.

We are gringos so we depended on the waitress other than our ordering tortilla soup which we knew we already loved. And we were not disappointed. It was very good.

When you order the main course. , Stick to chicken. We found that the steak bits were inedible.

The wait staff was sweet, kind and considerate.
