Denny's — Restaurant in Nogales

Dennys. For eating there, it is a very nice place and I love spending time with my family when eating there. I’m writing a review and the reason that I gave it a 3, is because I sell chocolates, the money is not for myself, not for my parents but to raise money to be able to go to all star competitions and help me out to pay for them. My all star cheer team helps me out by giving me chocolate boxes so I can sell them to the public. In my chocolate box, it says for fundraising. I am not keeping any of the money which people usually assume about me. I always go on the weekends to sell chocolates to be able to pay my competitions. My route is usually Dennys, then Zarape, etc. Since we live in such a small town, I can’t sell as much since there is not many places to sell. This particular day, it wasn’t as busy as it is, but I’ve never gotten “kicked out” since it usually happens because people assume that it is not a fundraiser. Anyway, I went in dennys to sell my chocolates as usual when halfway done selling, a worker suddenly grabbed my arm and told be I can’t sell there anymore since the boss is here. Mind you I’ve been selling here for about 2 years and there has never been any issue. This tells me that they have been “hiding” me from there boss that I am selling here. I don’t see a problem since this isn’t for me and this is helping for a special cause. Also, the workers there have bought from be in the past, so I didn’t see a problem. They could’ve called me out before those 2 years, but this whole situation has caused me to lose sales, and Dennys is not helping the community in my opinion. Many other places, like Walmart and ihop also do not support the community by rudely kicking us out (what I mean by us is that many of my teammates have been complaining that they have rudely kicked out) by yelling at us to get out of like I said firmly grabbing my arm. I live here locally and there's not many 24-hour places so having a Denny's is nice in that respect. And the food is on the lower side of average like any other Denny's. However, I tend not to feel welcome when I'm there. And yesterday got me to write this review.

Yesterday I went by myself to get some breakfast and read a book and when I'm standing waiting to be seated different waitresses and staff looks at me without a smile or acknowledgment and continues a conversation with a customer leaving. I understand they want to be polite to the other customer so I just wait there smiling I was in a pretty good movie that day. But, when they finished that conversation all of them disperse to do mundane tasks and don't look at my direction again or let me know someone would help me in a second or anything. I stood there a bit more and another waitress saw me and again looked away without acknowledgment and then a second waitress comes in and starts busing a table near me (and no it wasn't for me there was a lot of clean tables ready) and I decided just to leave. I understand I could just sit myself and they have to acknowledge me but I figured what's the point if they don't want me there why be somewhere where you're not wanted.

I worked customer service before and I understand it's not the nicest job but I at least pretended to care while I was clocked in I'm just asking for somebody to do the same with me.

Okay everybody listen here me and my buddies we went to denny's the other day and guess what happened one of my friends here she ordered a glass of milk and what happened the milk was rotten it was horribly rotten it was a appalling and very offensive cuz my friend she had to drink that milk and that's it was a nasty and bitter in her throat and she wanted to throw that thing right at that waiter but she decided to keep her composure and we decided to take the discount yes now I know everybody will agree with me on this one and everybody by that I mean every single person in this world will agree that we should have gotten everybody's meals free on that one well they only gave us one meal free and the drinks free which is very very offensive because it was very nasty milk it was very rotten and I would never recommend it to nobody in this world ever in this world okay do you hear me okay thank...
