Sort of skimpy on the ham... Ahh, the old Mike's, couldn't even fit it in your mouth.
Lately I've gotten a #9 substituting the bacon for extra ham and it's adequate (although still a little skimpy). However sometimes they forget to add the extra ham and its very skimpy so this isn't a sure-fire solution. When I told them what happened on the prior visit, there was no compensation or apology.
Also; they dowse it with vinegar. "Lite Vinegar" doesn't help. I now ask "Extra Lite Vinegar" and sometimes they read that as "Extra Vinegar". Arrrg!
Finally; they've shrunk their breads and decreased their meat portions! Are they becoming Subway? I have to wonder if their meat quality standards have survived their cost cutting measures?
All that said, they do (did??) have quality meats and when they get it right, it's a decent lunch sandwich so they still get 3 stars.
Today I tried ordering on the phone and finally hung up after 5 minutes on-hold, obviously forgotten. I ordered Jimmy Johns across the street. Similar price, great attitude, big meat, quality products. I wonder why I even go to Jersey...
Read moreSo I typically got to the Jersey Mikes in Eastvale since live close but I was passing through Norco and decided to get my mom and I a sandwich from this location. She ordered a mini and I ordered a regular #7 Mikes way. Unfortunately I ordered online so I didn’t watch them make it. When I got home to eat it there was absolutely no oil and vinegar which left the sandwich extremely dry. To top it off the bread was hard as a rock which left it un edible as a whole. Now I wasn’t asking for the moon and the sky but I did feel my sandwich should be replaced seeing I couldn’t eat it. It took till the next day before someone could get back to me and when they do they only refunded the price of the mini sandwich my mom got since that was the cheaper of the two. How does that make since when that’s not the one I purchased?!?! I’m all about customer service and this was horrible. I’m always in Norco but I think I’ll stick to my Eastvale Jersey Mikes. You lost me...
Read moreJersey Mike's is one of my favorite places for a quick bite to eat. The staff is friendly, the store is always clean and organized. I love that they use a meat slicer for all the meats. It is so thin and juicy!
The food is always delicious. My favorite is the #9. It is a must get! Add the avocado and that is a bomb sandwich! I love the Jersey shore points program. There are several times during the week you can get double points or bonus points. The points add up quickly and they go to free sandwiches! At one point I had close to 400 points and that is equivalent to almost 3 giant subs! That's like 40 bucks in food!
If you're looking for a great sandwich, freshly made with great ingredients....check out Jersey Mike's on...
