During my California travels, I embarked on a quest for a fresh burger experience, having sampled In-N-Out just days earlier and subsequently venturing to a different establishment. Placing my order, I couldn't help but notice the hefty price tag, nearly 60% higher than the beloved In-N-Out.

When the burger arrived, it was undeniably a tad larger and subtly more flavorful than the In-N-Out burger I had recently indulged in, accompanied by a modest portion of fresh greens. The familiar, comforting taste of In-N-Out was there, but I found myself grappling with a dilemma. In my humble estimation, the improvement might be conservatively gauged at around 10%, hardly justifying the substantial 60% premium.

Staying in the California area during my travels, I faced a choice. The bustling crowd at In-N-Out made it a clear favorite. The adage that people vote with their feet rings true. Nevertheless, I won't disparage the place; it possesses its own charm. However, the enduring appeal of In-N-Out is a testament to its enduring popularity.

I've learned that any self-occlaimed place for having the best food of any kind in their name, usually does not serve the best food of that kind. Unfortunately, this place went below my expectations knowing this already.

I have tried their burgers and burritos, and I have to say that I am very underwhelmed. The food was either very bland, or had a weird funk to the smell/taste of it. In the case of this establishment, I found that the thought was, "bigger means better right?" Absolutely wrong.

Now, I would have given this establishment 2 stars, because the food wasn't awful, nor was it good. The food was just "meh." I am giving 1 star for two big reasons: 1, the ratings of this place do not reflect the quality of the food , and 2, the cashier in the drive through wasn't wearing gloves when they took my card/gave me my food.

I also noticed that there was no hand washing or sanitizer near this person who was handling everything with their bare hands. We are in a pandemic, and one of the easiest ways to spread the virus is to not use gloves, not wash your hands, or not use hand sanitizer when touching food/other people's personal belongings (credit cards/debit cards). What really made my visit exceptional was the outstanding customer service, particularly from Andrew. He went above and beyond to ensure my dining experience was perfect - the kind of personal attention that makes you feel like family rather than just another customer.

The staff here is fantastic across the board, creating a welcoming atmosphere that perfectly complements their delicious menu offerings. They're open from 6AM to 10PM, serving everything from breakfast to burgers and pastrami, with a convenient drive-thru option.
