While being guest at this hotel me and my family experienced the worst treatment and service while visiting this place. For starters during breakfast when my wife asked for milk, she was told they ran out in a rudest manner, although they were serving dry cereal. So, she asked did they have cream, and she was given disapproving looks by two staff members because she likes cream in her oatmeal. She was told that they did not have cream either by the same two staff members while the disapproving looks continued. She walked over to another area to discover they did have cream. So, the staff was just unaccommodating towards her.
The worst thing happened was when I woke up in the middle of the night and wanted to get under the blankets to discover blood looking stains on the second or third cover. It bled onto layers of the blanket and was smeared like blood. This led to a front counter male staff member trying staff blame me for the stains being there. He told me to wait until the manager came in to have it addressed in a rude manner. Then told me I should have stated something immediately. I did so when I woke up because I was half asleep when I discovered it. I just pulled all the blankets over it and fell back to sleep because I was tired.
Later this morning, the manager and the housekeeping supervisor came to our room with a hostile disposition trying to blame me too. She stated the stains were jelly, some sort of ink, basically anything other than blood.
A hotel is still a public place and should have been cleaned before we were put in the room. It is obvious it was not cleaned and the cleaning staff just pulled up the blankets to make it look like they changed the blankets but did not. I stated this to the Vanessa, the front desk manager and the housekeeping supervisor with my family looking at what was taking place. The housekeeping supervisor actually shook her head no in disagreement when I stated the cleaning crew did not change the bedding. When my wife spoke Vanessa rudely stated "his name is on the room" so I am going to talk to him. When my wife asked Vanessa her name, she ignored my wife, which made my wife have to ask multiple times before Vanessa would give my wife her name and title. When Vanessa answered it was very rude. All this was taking place in front of our two sons.
Vanessa ended up coming back to our room and kicking us out of the hotel. You can tell that is what Vanessa wanted to do in the first place because of their failure to clean the room properly. She deflected the entire time and showed she has zero conflict resolution skills. She in fact escalated things when we did nothing wrong. We should have been offered a full refund and an apology instead. We don't know what this was on the sheets....
Read moreWe came here for a soccer tournament and had stayed 5 nights. The rooms are very spacious but the double beds and bedding are very low quality & very small. The window coverings were nice automatic shades. Everything is clean, parking is good but we will never stay at a Hilton again. The breakfast was the worst we have experienced in 15 years of traveling to tournaments. The kitchen staff informed me that all of their food is cooked in a microwave. They never serve bacon and the chicken sausage patties were really bad. They do not have waffles only a pancake machine. They had plenty of carbs, bagels, toast & blueberry muffins. No variety of pastries. We tried eating the oatmeal but every day it was watered completely down and was more like paste. I guess we have been too spoiled by Marriott and their beautiful buffet breakfast. Also we had an early game and my granddaughter just wanted to get a bagel before her game. We went down and asked about 5mins before breakfast was scheduled to start to ask if she could get one and they told us no because the toaster wasn’t plugged in yet and breakfast didn’t start for 5 more minutes. Every time I’ve stayed at a Marriott hotel their kitchen staff has always benn eager to please or help. They would have toasted that bagel for her . It was 5 minutes not 30. I didn’t speak to one other person staying at this hotel that liked this breakfast. Everyone had the same comments and were completely disappointed. So if you are only looking for a clean spacious room and easy parking this may work for you but if it’s comfort and good food I do not recommend. I will say that the air conditioning...
Read moreThere is only 2 things that are positive about this hotel. One is the fact that it is still pretty new and does not have the run in look or smell yet and two it is conveniently located to a Starbucks and some restaurants. Now let's get into the negatives. When booking at this hotel be aware this is a freeway on one side of hotel and if your room happens to be on that side you will be listening to that all night while you are trying to go to sleep. The rooms are incredibly small and there really is only enough room to sleep comfortably however, that will be a challenge because the walls are incredibly thin and if you have neighbors you will hear them at all times. The continental breakfast was a joke and should either be upgraded and fixed or removed entirely. Lastly the staff was rude and very unaccommodating. When asking for help it seemed as though it was an inconvenience to them to be bothered. Also don't even try to ask for a late check out even if you are sick you will find no sympathy with their staff and they will want to charge you for a full additional night at top market value just so you can try and get a few more hours to feel better. Overall would not recommend this hotel to anyone and their high rating is definitely not the experience I had. They do however offer free Disney pins for proof of reviews so that is probably the reason their reviews...
