West Coast Sourdough - Norco — Restaurant in Norco

It took me 34 minutes to get a bowl of mac and cheese and a bowl of clam chowder on a slow rainy Saturday afternoon last week. The bowls were fetched separately, the mac and cheese bowl was filled in the back and both heated in a microwave. 3 pieces of bread were cut at separate times by same employee who had stopped twice going to the back and returning to stand around having a pretty lengthy conversation with the other 2 employees. Then the bread was wrapped each time separately while my bowls sat uncovered. The last time she stopped to talk between heating the mac and cheese then cutting the last 3 slices of bread took 9 minutes. I've never had slower service anywhere in town that I recall. The mac and cheese was great altho both bowls were of course cold and had to be reheated. The clam chowder was thin but had quite a lot of clam. I'd rather have a thicker chowder and prefer less clam. The little pieces of bread were about what I'd expect, if I was at Subway that is. No flavor, soft crust, soft inside. Not the crusty crust and chewy inside I expected to have from a restaurant that leads with Sourdough in their name! Maybe the soup sourdough boules are better. The photos of the sandwiches look fabulous online. I'm not sure I'll ever go back to find out. Such a shame. Norco is a great place to have a restaurant because Horsetown USA people are very supportive. West Coast Sourdough is a must try for anyone in the Norco area! I have been to this location twice so far and I’ll definitely be coming back. First time I went in with my wife, and we were both greeted immediately by the staff. They were very friendly, and helpful when we asked for recommendations on the menu. They said we should try the BBQ brisket, turkey sandwich or the chicken pesto. I decided to try the BBQ brisket with a side of Mac & cheese, and my fiancé got the turkey sandwich with a side of clam chowder. I must say, it was DELICIOUS! You could really taste the quality in the bread and all the ingredients. The Mac and cheese was also amazing, and my fiancé said the clam chowder was one of the best she’s had. I ended up coming back a week later solo and tried the chicken pesto which again, was DELICIOUS! My wife was mad I went back without her lol. Placed an online office order for 8 sandwiches for pick up. We received wrong sizes, not what was ordered nor what we were charged for. 5 out of the 8 sandwiches were made wrong or the wrong sandwich was sent. Tried to call to let them a few times since it was our lunch hour to make them aware of the mistake and they kept picking up and hanging up on me. Then when I did get through I was told that this is a business and I'm bugging them and to not call back. I'm sorry, is that how you treat all customers? I was a customer who just spent $110 on an office order that will no longer order from there again. What a shame we did order from there a lot as an office. This company's employees are unprofessional and rude. I hope the owner does something about this soon before they have no business, since I'm not this first to write a review about this. I do know that they just lost 5 customers possibly even 8....
