Throughout the last few years I have visited the restaurant because of the taste of their food reminds me how the food is cooked in El Salvador, this in spite of their bad costumer service, you had to seek for a waitress to come and take your order most of the time. About a year ago things began to get worse, the portions of the food got smaller and the bad costumer service was more evident, but still, I kept going, but not as much as before. About the end of October 2020, I visited the restaurant one more time, which will be the last one. This time I had to ask two waitresses to take my order, when my meal came ( I order a breakfast, which consists of frijoles, casamiento, crema, queso, huevos, plátanos y tortillas) the plate didn’t have the plátanos and instead of casamiento, it had rice, I had to come to the counter and ask what was going on because the waitress didn’t give me any explanation at the table, she was there and told me ( not in a polite way)she gave me rice because they didn’t have casamiento and they were cooking plantains at the moment and didn’t have any available, she said would bring me the plantains later. I came back to my table, I didn’t want to argue, I was hungry and wanted to go home, it took forever to bring the plantains and on top of that, they were hard and didn’t taste good. I was going to speak with the manager or the owner of the restaurant to put my complaint, but instead I just won’t go over there anymore. If you wanted to taste the authentic food of El Salvador, you are too late, it is gone at this place and there is only so much bad costumer service you can...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this spot for years, and it never disappoints. The seafood soup is always fresh, flavorful, and packed with shrimp, crab, and more — truly the best around, and I can’t get enough of it!
My only suggestion is that with the steady flow of customers, it would be helpful to have a cashier so the waiters can focus more on service rather than handling payments. On busy weekends, an extra helper for seating and cleaning tables would also make things run smoother. Right now, the waiters are wearing many hats — host, server, cashier, and cleaner — and they do it well, but it’s a lot. I hope they’re being compensated fairly for all their hard work, because they really make the...
Read moreI LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!! it opens early and they offer a great variety of food options. They offer Salvadorian food, they have baleadas, they have Mexican food, they have a whole section of pastries you can choose from. You have the option to order on the phone and eat in, or pick up and go. The staff is very nice, although short staffed they always help everyone out as quickly as they can. I mean Everytime I go there are over 5 tables and a line of people at the pastries wall. Very homey place. Recommend you come and try pupusas, baleadas, or their breakfast options. If you're in Norcross come by here !! You won't regret it....
