Horrible customer service! We have ordered from China Town on Sewell's several times. The first few times we have had pretty decent food (for as decent as you can get from a take out Chinese restaurant.) However, for as decent as the food has been, it's no longer worth the lack of customer service that this establishment offers. We have had multiple issues and for some reason, we go back saying, "Maybe this time the service will be better." It never is. The girl who answers the phone does not listen. She cannot get an order right to save her life. She will tell you to hold on as she yells at someone in the background in Chinese...Strike one. Then she gets the order wrong... you don't find out until you receive delivery... strike two. When you call and explain your lack of receiving your full order, you are met with... "I didn't ring in (insert order)." Fine... you made a mistake, I ask you to fill in the rest of my order (I'm willing to pay, I'm not asking for free food), and I am met with, "The driver will come back, but you will have to pay a $7 delivery fee." WHY?? Why do I have to pay to fix YOUR mistake? Why can't you make my order, allow me to pay for it, and drive the .97 miles (yes, that's how close I live) without a fee?? Why when I express that that is unacceptable do you hang up on your customer? This was the final time and the final straw. Our lack of business to your establishment may mean nothing to China Town, we are after all only one household, but maybe someone will read this review and think to themselves, "There's a Chine One, No.1 Chines, Delicate China, etc. all within my delivery area...Perhaps we should order from them.".... after all, it's Chinese take out, not...
Read moreSome of the most nastiest people I have came across. First time the older male got nasty with me. Second time the young male. Third time a female yelled at me over the phone. I believe in giving people a chance that's why I still tried to do business with them but NEVER AGAIN! They have terrible attitudes they treated me like they don't need any customers. People like that you show them by hitting them in the pockets!! I know of several people who have taken my advice because they were too spoken to rudely. We don't have to put up with that, it's one on every corner! I spend my money at Garden China. The food not always great but they are pleasant and humble!
FYI Matthew Bond "READ" several other viewers wrote about having had the same problem. I gave them three different chances because that's the kind of person I am. I don't know of many people who will do that I bet...
Read moreIf you want to order food from here, it’s best to do it online. However, this doesn’t guarantee they get your order right. I ordered Beef & Prawns Szechuan Style, Hot & Sour soup, and Chicken Chow Mein. Everything was strangely oily, mushy, or pale. The chicken chow mein came with no chow mein (Picture 3). Just cabbage and boiled chicken. The Szechuan Beef was chewy and the shrimp disintegrated in your mouth. Not in a tender way, more like it was either horribly frost-bitten or undercooked. It’s also not spicy at all. The Hot & Sour Soup wasn’t spicy either. The mushrooms are clearly old, lumpy, and slimy. And there were random goops of some substance that made the texture inedible. To not get sick I only took a few bites. The food is most likely old because there aren’t a lot of...
