Cook Out: It's Exactly What You Need, Y'all! Let's be real, you don't go to Cook Out expecting white tablecloths or Michelin stars. You go to Cook Out because, well, it's Cook Out, y'all! And for what it is – a late-night savior, a wallet-friendly feast, and a purveyor of gloriously customizable trays – it absolutely nails it, earning a solid four stars in its own fantastic lane. The magic of Cook Out lies in its utterly unique approach to the fast-food experience. The "Cook Out Tray" is a legendary creation: pick your main (burgers, hot dogs, chicken, BBQ), and then choose two sides from a dazzling array that includes everything from fries and hushpuppies to corn dogs, quesadillas, and even chicken nuggets. And let's not forget the drink and the colossal variety of milkshakes that are practically a meal in themselves. It’s an astounding amount of food for an incredibly reasonable price, making it unbeatable value. The food itself is consistently good for what it is. The burgers are reliably char-grilled with that signature smoky flavor, the hot dogs are snappy, and the BBQ is a solid, no-frills option. But the true genius is the ability to mix and match to create your perfect combo. Want a burger with a side of onion rings and a chicken quesadilla? Done. Fancy a hot dog with cheese fries and a chili dog? Absolutely. And then there are the milkshakes. Oh, the milkshakes! The sheer number of flavors is dizzying, from classic chocolate and vanilla to peach cobbler, banana pudding, and countless other delightful concoctions. They're thick, creamy, and the perfect indulgent end (or beginning, or middle) to your meal. Service is typically fast and efficient, even when the drive-thru line wraps around the building – which it often does, especially late at night. The vibe is casual, unpretentious, and perfectly embodies that laid-back, late-night comfort food craving. Cook Out isn't trying to be anything it's not, and that's precisely its charm. It's consistent, it's affordable, and it offers an unparalleled level of customization that truly satisfies. When that Cook Out craving hits, there's just no substitute. It's a true institution, and a deserving four-star champion of...
Read moreJesus the food is great but the customer service the last 7 months from the young ladies that work at night is horrendous. I eat here four nights a week 1. Because it’s the only thing open when I get off work 2. It’s my favorite food place ever. All I ever get is one sandwich and a large drink with no ice and 8 times out of ten the sandwich is wrong , the grilled chicken will be straight up raw and the drink has extra ice🤦🏽♂️. They rush you to order and that’s after the five minutes of silence before they come on the mic and demand you to order like you’re disturbing their day they will not comfirm anything you say so just hope and pray she heard your modifications because “they dont pay her to confirm nun”. After you order there’s another ten min of silence before you get a total because again “she not about to be talkin to you all day”. Many times I’ve just pulled to the window from lack of response and at the window these girls will go thru great effort to speak 0 words as they process your order again hope and pray she blesses you with napkins and a straw because that’s another five min wait if she’s closed the window. Whenever my sandwich is wrong I have to wait another five to ten minutes for whatever rude girl is in the window to finish pretending she hasn’t noticed me still sitting there to open the window and without any words coming out her mouth take the bag back and force and new one out the window as if this is this a volunteer job and your asking her for to much. God forbid I ever get a napkin or straw. I know this is lengthy but I love cookout and I’m so fed up with these rude, unprofessional young ladies in the window at night. please look into this stores night staff I’ve been in the restaurant business for decades and I would shop the drive thru at my store looking for these rude type of girls in my windows and fire them on the spot many times for similar behavior that I’ve experienced at this cookout location. Please do something or I will have to...
Read moreWe have been going to this cook out for at least 4 years now, it’s the neighborhood cook out so we go quite often. However for the past couple of months the people working have been extremely rude. When I say extremely, I mean it! They have been having some serious attitudes, you can’t ask them for a sauce without getting some serious stink eye or them shutting the window in your face. I don’t know what’s with the crews lately specially this light complexion young teen boy with black curly long hair who is just mean altogether, he’s been there most the times during the night shift. Anyways, I always order the same things, same drink and large. Well lately this young boy has refused to get me my drink saying I have to request it beforehand (I never had this issue before until then) well the biggest thing is that even when requesting it they haven’t given it. Then this time another young boy taking our order was so extremely rude, then when we pull to the windows that other young boy I already mentioned before (he was there this time too) comes to the window and looks straight at us for a minute then laughs, at this point we are just baffled and confused. To top it off the food was wrong, (didn’t get the spicy sandwich, instead got a regular). Like I said there been issues before but this last experience thing was it! Seriously what type of service does this place give nowadays. Honestly I’m not the only one that complains from this location lately, quite a few of the neighbors in the neighborhood have been saving the same type of experiences, some gave up and just don’t go anymore. Is this the reflection of the Reaves family, im would bet not! Hoping to see a change! Some nice and respectful crews. Attached pictures of wrong items...
