Craft on Colley is a yes for me. I really appreciate that they offer a decent amount of parking in their lot, with easy access from both Colley and 42nd Street. They even have a bike rack, which is a nice touch for cyclists. The space isn’t huge, but it’s a good size with both indoor seating and a cozy outdoor patio—perfect for enjoying these summer evenings. It’s a great spot for everyone—friends, couples, and families alike. We arrived before the crowd, but the place filled up quickly, which says a lot about its popularity. From the moment we walked in, the hostess/waiter was very attentive, and I noticed this level of service was consistent with all guests. He greeted everyone promptly and checked in on tables regularly without being intrusive. Since we were celebrating my birthday, our waiter even surprised me with a free pineapple shot—such a thoughtful and fun touch that made the experience even better. The vibe was great—good background music, a relaxed atmosphere, and solid food and drinks. We both ordered the “Life is a Peach” margarita, which was perfectly balanced in flavor and strength. One drink lasted us the entire two-hour visit. For food, we ordered the calamari, Buddha buns, bang bang shrimp, Cobb salad, and a side of fries with queso. Everything was tasty, but my favorites were definitely the bang bang shrimp and the Buddha buns—they had a nice little kick. I’ll definitely be back—and soon.

Craft on Colley is a beautiful restaurant with delicious cocktails, but that’s about all they offer. The service was lacking; it was not bad, but it wasn’t great either. The crab rice balls were decent, but the sauce tasted like just plain kewpie Mayo with no other flavor profile. It could have used some lemon to brighten it up. I ordered the blue cheese burger and it was decent, but not enough blue cheese! It didn’t have a strong blue cheese flavor which is hard to believe considering how bold blue cheese is. Skip the fries, they say homemade and cost an additional $4 to add as a side but they tasted like heated up frozen fries and were dry in the middle. My partner got one of the bowls and seemed to enjoy it. I really enjoyed all of the drinks that I got, so if I ever went back it would probably just be for cocktails. I finished the meal with a lemon yuzu tart and it was so disappointing. It was loaded with whipped cream to cover up the fact that the layer of filling didn’t even fill up the tart casing. Definitely overpriced (the price for 2 tacos was stupid crazy) so I would just skip this place because it doesn’t have much to offer.

Food was delicious. Everyone enjoyed what they had. Breakfast burrito was a bit on the small side. The side of potatoes was larger than the burrito. Two of us got the Mac daddy burgers. Very good. A little disappointing a side of fries is $4. We got an app so we passed on fries. One got the strawberry crepes and loved them. Wasn't terribly impressed with the service. Will probably return. So many restaurants so little time. I would recommend just keep in mind a semi a la carte menu. Also a service charge for credit cards. Wish shops like this would reflect the credit price in the price and then give a discount for cash. But that's a generic gripe not just here.

Craft on Colley Ave was a huge disappointment! My guests were harassed and mistreated by staff and no one told me because it was my bday and I didn’t notice because i was putting my kids out. This was their experience: “The food wasn't good and they was rude Brian told the waiter SEVERAL times no radish in his food due to allergies and she still gave it to him and didn't apologize she just sad he shouldn't have rotated the seats smh the manager had to come over Brian got so pissed he left we paid but didn't leave her a tip the lady came to the car talking trash because his didn't leave a tip but she didn't apologize for giving him the radish however the manger did offer him a epi pen and took the meal off the ticket” Another one of my guests were also approached about a tip. A tip they didn’t deserve because he had to ask for something several times as well and received no apology. I made dinner reservations for my birthday (Friday 9/29) 2 weeks in advance for a party of 10, then called back to add 7 more people and was told, “okay, that’s fine. Just call back on Thursday to confirm those tables “. When I called back to confirm the manager gave me a hard time because it was “too large of a party and anything over 12 people needs to go through him.” That was the first red flag. Darren is FULL of nonchalance and attitude. Mind you, I hadn’t physically been there myself, but heard only good things about it so I wanted to have my birthday dinner at a place we’d never been too. I didn’t know the dining room was small. And I expressed that I’d never been there when I made my reservation. So boom. We get there, the waitresses introduce themselves with no names, and I didn’t ask because I thought my mom did and I was handling my newborn. We ordered appetizers and things seemed cool until it came to the entrees. My cousin’s daughter ordered an appetizer, she didn’t receive until they were ready to go, even after reminding the waitress several times. My nephew ordered a lemonade, they were out, so the waitress offered him an orange juice. The “juice” he received was in a the same glass our alcohol came in and it smelled and tasted like a mimosa. He’s 8!

When I called back to speak with a manager after receiving the news of poor service, he was nonchalant and dismissive about the whole thing. He refused to tell me who the manager on duty was or give me anyone’s name. I only asked for first names because I wanted to confirm with my family who they were before I reported them. His response was a very dry, “that shouldn’t have happened, what you want me to do about it?” And “ but did they tip?” I tried to keep my cool following this but he kept talking over me! Darren is rude and dismissive, showing little to no concern for his customers poor experience. He is the General Manager! And he need to check his attitude at the door and get his house in order! I’ve visited hundreds of restaurants and have NEVER seen anything like this. And this isn’t even ALL of...

I was with a group on Sunday, the restaurant was nice but the service was extremely slow, and they were not very busy. They were told it was 8 of us, proceeded to only give 7 glasses of water and 7 sets of cutlery. One glass of water had something floating in it, we gave it back and it was not replaced, mind you 1 person was already without a glass due to the discount, so now 2 people do not have water. We would ask questions about the menu, and the waitress didnt know the answer to any of the questions. "What type of meat are in the Buddha buns? Does the country gravy have any meat in it? Can a strawberry mimosa be made?" These were all asked at separate times, and each time she'd return to the table to ask about our order, we'd bring up the question again and it was very evident that she forgot. She admitted to forgetting to ask about the mimosa, after everyone else had received their beverages and we asked about it. She was a very sweet girl but maybe some retraining is needed. Overall, we waited over 30 minutes for our orders to come out, and it had gotten to the point that we were all ready to cancel the orders and thats when food began to arrive. Watching tables that showed up after us receive not only their drinks but orders in a timely fashion was very disappointing. We waited over 15 minutes for drink orders and over 30 minutes for our actual meals.

Berry blast mocktail 10/10 Buddha buns 10/10 Salmon BLT 10/10 Donut bites 7/10 Wings 3/10, feathers still present and lacked flavor. Chicken & waffles 8/10. Waffle has good flavor but is very thick. Chicken was delicious Mac Daddy smashburger 3/10. The mac patty is bland and not cheesy. The burger itself had good flavor but the patty was...
