I had the pleasure of visiting Elation Brewing for a League of Women Voters social event yesterday and I was surprised to see that there were absolutely no reviews or photos about Elation (on Yelp). I was told that maybe it was due to the fact that it was still a soft opening rather than an official opening, but there have been many events at Elation from what I've seen on social media. Either way, yesterday was my chance to go to this brewery and I will say that I had an amazing time. I'm not much of a beer drinking (why go to a brewery then? don't ask me!) but I appreciate the staff taking the time to allow me to taste test some options that I could eventually handle. After trying about three or four drinks, I chose the Blood Orange drink and it was pretty good. I did also like the Floral drink, and I'll probably get that the next time. The grilled cheese sandwich was absolutely amazing! I don't even care for avocado, and yet I had it in this sandwich. Definitely not like mama made it for sure, and the name fits the 'wich. Highly recommend that. The space is pretty open and they leave the slide up doors open during operation so you can feel the air from outside. It was very comfortable, not like some other breweries I've been to where it's way too hot and people are sweating all over the place. The atmosphere was great, the vibes from the staff were absolutely amazing, and even though I don't drink beer, I look forward to trying their other brews when they start making some. Thanks again for hosting us yesterday! I...

The space is modern, yet cozy, with a sleek industrial aesthetic. Whether you're a seasoned beer enthusiast or a casual drinker looking to explore new flavors, Elation Brewing offers an inviting environment for all.

The brewmasters at Elation are true artisans. From crisp lagers to bold IPAs and rich stouts, each brew is crafted with precision and care, resulting in a lineup that's nothing short of spectacular. And they're constantly rotating their offerings, so there's always something new to try. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their craft, always eager to recommend the perfect brew or share insights into the brewing process.

Elation often hosts events for various groups, including live music and team trivia nights.

What truly sets Elation apart from other craft brew joints is their menu of delicious food that perfectly complement their beer selection. Wood-fired, naturally leavened pizzas, gourmet pretzels, mouthwatering sandwiches and more, every dish is crafted with the same attention to quality and flavor as their brews.

Elation Brewing is the best of the Norfolk craft beer scene. With their welcoming atmosphere, exceptional brews, and dedication to customer satisfaction, it's a must-visit destination for anyone who...

It's a beautiful brewery. Spacious, clean and open on the inside. Love the colors and decor. Great pizza, tasted good. I was there for a work-related event and we had had fun. Enjoyed watching the brewery clientele, their conversations & chatiness creates layers of echoes in the room which enhances the ambiance, in my opinion. Thought the staff were nice and the bathrooms were clean.

One star deduction: I had ordered the Italian Pilsner but it was too bitter for my taste so I asked for a swap out to a fruity sour beer. Aside from the young lady making a scowl face toward me, she did what I asked. The next young lady after her was much, much nicer toward me and so were the other staff.

Parking is slightly tricky, it's a tight situation. Please note!: Limited amount of parking in the small lot; you would have to park on the street or park on nearby residential houses (some houses look abandoned or sketchy lol) I would not feel good walking alone out of that brewery and having to walk up those streets by myself to get back in my...

There are so many things to love about this brewery. The atmosphere, the bands, the people, the option to have vegan cheese. Funnily enough, their beer isn't one of my favorites, but I did enjoy the Baltic Porter (it was just too high in ABV to keep drinking it). And unlike most breweries, you do have an option to drink wine. The outdoor firepits look amazing though I've never had the pleasure of sitting at one. The smoke carries inside when the doors are opened so I wouldn't sit by the door. Inside is spacious and airy. I loved seeing the bands at their 3rd anniversary celebration. Nate Sacks, Fox and the Bear, and then to cap the night off, The Heart Stompers! Great choices and each one unique. Con: Parking options. Unless you get lucky, be prepared to hunt for a spot and then have a long walk.

Took my wife here on Valentine's Day and it was wonderfully enjoyable! They had a special meal for the occasion which both me and my wife enjoyed immensely. The ambiance was amazing with an open floor concept and plenty of tables, couches, chairs and even a stage for live music. The staff was extremely helpful, patience and kind and provided for a supremely enjoyable experience of dining, drinking new and tasty beers and just generally enjoying ourselves. We got to meet the owner and spoke with him for about 15 minutes and he was very kind, gracious and attentive especially to someone who doesn't know much about beer. All in all I believe that this establishment is a diamond in the ruff and am very much looking forward to going again!

Huge brewery! We came here to watch the Super Bowl and partake on their specials. The venue seemed a little empty, but we got more personal treatment. It is definitely dog friendly, with very nice dog owners! We got some very comfortable seats right up front of the projector to see the big game and had very few problems watching it. We ordered food at the bar, and they delivered it straight to our table. The special that night was a $10 liter of the Super Layer pictured here. We didn't partake of the food special, but the wraps we ordered were amazing. Overall, we had a great time. Good food, great service, great people, and dogs allowed! The drinks were great too; what's not to like?
