NOT HAPPY!! I WORK IN FOOD SERVICE MYSELF. When I approached the resaurant they looked open. All the lights were on inside. Tried to go inside and the doors were locked. NO SIGN ON DOOR STATING YOU NEED TO GO TO THE DRIVE THRU. SO, I drive around to the drive thru and nobody is in line. When I drive past the light is not on the order board either So I thought maybe the fryer oven is broke. So I pull around the store and decided to call to make sure, before I go spend my money somewhere else, a young lady answers with a snappy "Hello" and silence. So I ask, Is this KFC? She says "Yes" with a tone like im stupid and dont know,, so I say, are you open? She says yes we are but you have to go thru the drive thru. I said, well I did but,,,cuts me off, then she says "we are short staffed" thats why you need to come to the drive thru. ( Like im supposed to know that ) I then expained, I did but the sign wasn't lit so I thought I would call and make sure. Then shes says nothing, with a long delay "and then just hangs up on me". Did I deserve that??? Well she desrves this,,,
This visit was on 7-10-24 at 8:15 pm She doesn't need to be working in food service acting with an attitude the way she treated me!!! If that keeps up that location will wind up becoming another mexican restaurant. This is like the 4th time in a row I wanted your Original Recipe chicken and end up going to other chicken restaurants. Too sad about our younger, rude generation, and this restaurants current lack of service status. UNACCEPTABLE!! Just shut it down then?!?
I do understand if theres not enough people to work there, as I said I know how crazy it is at my restaurant when all the younger generation calls out of work. Then me the 58 year old has to help twice as much. BUT IT WAS HER RUDENESS AND THEIR LACK OF SIGN ON THE DOOR THAT MAKE ME FORGET ABOUT KFC ANYMORE!!!

Read moreWorst experience I’ve had after many years of visiting kfc’s. I placed an online app order using Apple Pay because I left my card at home. I was told they just received my order and it would be 20 minutes (her actual words) to fulfill it. I pulled around to the front of the building and waited 15 minutes. This was for two simple meals of chicken tenders essentially. The app said it was ready after 15 minutes so I went in to ask for my order. It was not ready and I was told they need 5 more minutes for fries. It was apparent to me they marked the order as “complete” in the app to meet whatever order fulfillment goal might exist (gotta keep those stats good on paper, huh?) but clearly had no intention of filling my simple order in a reasonable timeframe… I stepped back and waited as one other customer was serviced. While waiting I couldn’t help but see the moldy tubing leading into the drink machine… nice touch. An older lady ( not very kind) brings me one small bag and two drinks. She immediately waddles away. I check the bag because the track record so far isn’t looking great.. would you believe that a whole 5 piece tender meal was missing. I paid 23 dollars and waited 20 minutes like really?! I’m guessing the older Lady snuck off because she knew she hadn’t filled the whole order. Thank goodness I checked before leaving the counter. The younger lady handling the drive thru went back and made the missing meal and handed me the bag. No apologies, no cordiality, at all. Whatever, I’m not taking that personally but between that and the older lady yelling from the kitchen to a man who came to order “we are out of chicken” after handing me a half empty bag of food. I know it may be hard working at these places sometimes but if I’m spending hard earned money somewhere I wanna be at least treated like a human. I was kind to them and thanked them despite wasting my time and having a cold mediocre meal to bring back to my family after being gone so long.. Lastly, don’t have the app ordering functionality if they are going to be nasty about the order and take 20 mins to bring out two small meals. If I ordered in the drive through would I have to wait that long too?! Nothing fast...
Read moreI guess I should have read the reviews before deciding to order here, and then gone to Chick-fil-A or Hardees! I ordered the Taste of KFC meal with 6 pieces of chicken, 4 sides, and 4 biscuits. Ordered on the app at 8:53pm and it said order would be ready at 9:05. Got to the store (a Saturday evening) and only the drive thru is open and they say they don't have any chicken, it will be a 30 min wait. I said I had a mobile order, and still told it would be 30 minutes because the fryer has to come up to temp. What??
They don't leave the fryers on so they can cook chicken as they get orders, if not ahead?? I had not eaten here since before Covid as they had a habit of always saying they are out of chicken. It'S a dang CHICKEN RESTAURANT!!! But I was craving it and thought I would give it a try. Besides having to wait almost 30 min, they didn't give me the correct items. The deal is supposed to have 1 breast, 1 wing, 2 thighs and 2 legs. Also one each of corn, mashed potatoes with gravy, cole slaw, and mac and cheese, plus 4 biscuits for $20.
The sides are tiny individual sizes, and I got no cole slaw, but 2 corn, a mashed potato, and the mac. Canned corn tastes better than theirs! Had I been able to choose, we would have gotten double potatoes and double slaw, which is what I was really craving! They gave us no thighs, and 2 wings, 3 drumsticks, and a breast 5 of the 6 pieces were the smallest ones they make! It also seemed like they just feied the original recipe since it didnt have the extra crunchy coating that we were used to.
No apologies, no notice of not having what was ordered (other than saying they were out of chicken when we arrived.) And then told to wait 30 min out front while waiting for the fryer to heat up! Couldn't even go in to use the restroom as the doora were locked (an hour and 10 minutes before closing, on a Saturday night!!) They also can't refund when ordered online (and said they can't control when it says my order is ready!?) Otherwise, I would have just cancelled it. Wow!
