Ordered from a food delivery service that sponsors this place & they won’t post my review w pics so I cancelled my pass subscription. They stuff the desert in a too small container so the frosting/topper comes off w the lid when opening. The cheesecake looks like someone took a bite out of it & a finger was pressed in to the cheesecake. The chile relleno was soggy, served in a soupy something not sauce and looks nothing like the menu picture. The refried beans look puréed and have the texture of a puree. Amazing authentic, fresh Mexican food!!! Recently moved to Norfolk and was in search of a go to Mexican food place and I found it!! Mi Tienda Hernandez has great quality meat, tacos and hot sauce!!! The elotes were delicious, the birria tacos were phenomenal and so were the steak tacos!! The owners were so kind and friendly, gave us some free sample of lengua, extra sauce for free and were lovely people to conversate with!! The food came out so fast and fresh! Will definitely be coming here a lot and sharing it...

Absolutely delicious. Best birria I’ve ever had. Service was quick and efficient. Food was amazing and packaged neatly for transport. The restaurant was cute and had a good atmosphere.
