The first time I was here I got better service and the food was good, this time I got awful service from a cranky Karen with blonde streaks. How was it not obvious to you that what you were doing was questionable? When you're just standing around in the kitchen and then began to yell, that's poor business skills. It's not the customers job to ask an employee if it's their turn, you should just professionally know how to handle the public well and act like an adult about it with mannerism when a question is asked, it's called common sense, and that's something the lady tonight did not show. You guys are not even busy, there was only two of us in front of you one of them standing around while you were doing the same thing. Your business obviously isn't as busy as others I seen tonight so I know that your hands aren't full. Be a productive adult at your place of business and learn how to speak to adults, if she can't do that then she shouldn't be working at a Taco truck, pretty...
Read moreIf you're looking for real street tacos with a variety of meats to choose from, Taqueria Gonzalez is your place. As soon as you approach the taco truck you are hit with a delicious smell of grilled meats coated in Mexican spices. The smell gets your taste buds flowing, knowing that something delicious comes your way. I chose al pastor, carne asada, and cachete. All three were great, but as often the case for me, the al pastor was my absolute favorite. I ordered them with rice and beans. The beans were delicious, certainly on the runnier side than you find in most Tex-Mex joints. The rice was forgettable, neither great nor bad. Everything was kicked up another level by the delicious salsas. The red sauce was super hot, and super good. The only thing I regret is only ordering three tacos.
Next to the taco truck is a homemade covered shelter with seating, which would have provided the perfect spot to eat (and order more tacos) but I had to...
Read moreI drove past this place for many years and finally made the decision to stop, and I'm so glad I did! The bilingual menu is to read, and the colorful food pictures are helpful too! Easy checkout with a debit card was convenient since I didn't have cash on hand. There is a good choice of drinks and a treat being in glass bottles. I would definitely eat here again for the huge filling chicken or steak burritos. There is shade under the awning and some really neat custom made high tables. There was background music that added to the authenic mexican food theme. It was very busy on this nice day for outdoor dining, but don't worry, they had two serving windows turning out food promptly. There is limited off street parking, but a person can get food to go as well. Well done! I have a new favorite...
