AquaVenture Water Park — Attraction in Norfolk

First of all I have a complaint! I was on the floaty things where you jump to the next one. Well, there was a lifeguard there and when I fell off one of the floaties I of course wasn't meaning this but I said " uhh I hate this place" well, the lifeguard was being really snotty and said "then why don't you get off it!" I mean really? I sit here in the pool and joke around and she says why don't you get off like really? I also have allergies and I have a cough. So I was coughing and miss lifeguard thought it was a joke and said that's enough very snotty. I'm thinking I have allergies. So now she tells me I can't COUGH! Really? Please have a talk with her. She was on duty by the floaties around 7:00 - 7:30 yes I know she was talking to me cause the floaties were really empty there. I just had a devisestating experience and it makes me wonder if I should even come back again just cause THAT lifeguard! Please respond to this message. I'd love to hear what youd...

What a great asset to the kind people of Norfolk! We enjoyed an afternoon of fun here while visiting some friends in Norfolk. The pool is great, with many fun attractions. The kids had a blast on the obstacle course and slides. There's even a wave pool here! The only improvement I could suggest is having some deeper options for people who just want to swim. This is more of an attraction to cool off and have fun more than it is for actual swimming. Yesterday we went and while we were there my two daughters discovered one of the life guards sleeping. She was sitting at her station with her hoodie up and sunglasses on. We watched her not move for a good 30 minutes or more. Then we watched as two other life gaurds stood behind her and blew there whistles to wake her. They laughed and went on.
