I finally found it. The taste I have been searching for since the 80's, and its been under my nose for decades and never bothered to try them out until my aunt told me about them. First off, the rice is brown, not yellow, and no peas and carrots, just rice onions and meat and seasoned like it should be. This is what we call here in the 757 a Chinese joint, not a restaurant, a joint. Where you will always get your best Chinese in the 757. A neighborhood restaurant that's been around forever, maybe 2 or 3 booths, to sit and eat. Get in and get out. I ordered the house fried rice, which has shrimp, pork, chicken, and 4 chicken wings, which were also good. Nice size shrimp for fried rice. Usually when I buy fried rice from a restaurant I have to get it home and tweak it a little to get the taste I am looking for, but not here all I had to do was add cayenne to make it spicy.
