nted a few minutes to think and from then on she started avoiding us. She finally took our order, I liked my food but my husband got the prime rib and was very salty. We got done eating and we’re ready for dessert, she said she was ready to give us the ticket, and we said we would like to get dessert. She rolled her eyes and took our order, dessert came and she smacked it down on the table, didn’t say anything. Then comes back and slaps the ticket down and doesn’t say anything. My husbands dessert was burnt, tasted burnt all the way through after giving us our ticket we waited for 45 minutes to talk to her about it, she walked past us multiple times, made eye contact with her, and she completely avoided us. Finally my daughter and I got up to go to the car and my husband to go find the manager; these people really thought we were dining and dashing smh. When my husband got back out to the car he said they took 10 off our meal, but the manager was making excuses for our waitress ignoring us saying she was new. I was also a new waitress at one point, but I never ignored a table for 45 minutes plus their entire meal. My family and I do not live in Norfolk, Ne, but when we do visit we love eating at Whiskey Creek, and the service is always amazing which is why we always go back but today was so very disappointing! When we arrived we were greeted within 5 minutes and our food arrived within 20 minutes of ordering and as always the food was amazing! Our server did amazing with getting our drinks and condiments when our food arrived so as always we were very happy with our visit. When it was time to pay an older relative covered the bill and paid with a tip as always, and she thought everything was good until the server came back and threw the tip back to us because she didn’t like the amount of it! It wasn’t $10 but it wasnt a $1 either, it was something and from an older person who was just trying to have a day with family! I have never seen a server throw a tip back until today! Update: I have been back to WC three times since the review below. It has steadily gone down hill. It's still good, but not great. Our server didn't bring the bread, mixed up the orders, and forgot to bring the sweetener that was requested. We weren't asked for desser either. My steak (this would be on the cook, not the server) was very over cooked. I had asked for a very rare sirloin and was served a medium well flat piece of meat. By the time I got the redo, the mushrooms had turned ice cold. Side note: The sweet potato souffle was very good.

Original review: After the last four steakhouses I've been to in Central NE, this is the BEST! I asked for my Top Sirloin steak rare, err on the side of me chasing the steak around my plate with a fork. Finally, I had a steak that had so much natural flavor that there was no need for any additional seasoning or sauces. It was FANTASTIC, with that beautiful and clean beef flavor. The fire veggies, even the broccoli were all crisp.
