Olive Garden Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Norman

I need to start by saying that OLIVE GARDEN used to be my favorite restaurant Zuppa Toscana and Fettuccine Alfredo used to be my daughter and my favorite meals until 9/28/17. I am super disappointed and most likely won't eat there anymore. They shouldn't deserve a star but I was unable to post my review without stars selected On 9/28/17 I ordered as usual over the phone and they told me that the estimated time was 15-20 minutes. I arrived at the 20 time and after 40 minutes waiting time and seeing that order orders after mine were ready faster. I asked for the status of my order. they said it was almost ready. Then 10 minutes later I requested to cancel due that I needed to go home. So, they finally brought the order out. When I made it home the whole order was awful. The Zuppa Toscana was watered and only one potato skin and 4 leaves of kale, no sausage, basically only broth and my child pasta was with no sauce and mashed potatoes mixed with the pasta when we requested no mashed potatoes. I was charged $23,34 for two meals that we couldn't eat and had to trash. Immediately I contacted the restaurant claiming a credit back to my card. The lady said that Javier Hernandez "the manager" was going to contact me the next day and process a refund. A week later, on 10/5/17 I called again due that no one has returned my call and they apologize and said that Mr. Hernandez was going to take care the incident. Today, after waiting for more than 13 days James the night manager said that his supervisor Javier Hernandez will contact me tomorrow. I bet I will ended up with the $23.34 charge for a food that I was unable to eat!!! What a disappointment !!! But one thing I am going to make sure everyone knows so that Olive Garden at Norman Oklahoma SUCKS !! Awful Management and Personnel. Ordered two appetizers, the calamari was perfect, the Shrimp Fritto Misto was over fried. My main entree was Chicken Alfredo with added broccoli, my chicken was NOT grilled. It had a bread coating and fried. The salad and breadsticks were yummy. It's been awhile since we have been, I remember when they didn't ask if you wanted soup or salad and they brought it to the table with your drinks. The table next to us had a group that expected that tyoe of service only to be informed that's not how it works anymore. We told the waiter to add the extra salad and breadsticks to our ticket, so they could enjoy their meal. Which in the end they did right by the group. Where I get, only included with entree purchases, they need to allow half orders or other options, because the entrees are enough food for 2-3 meals or people, i personally brought most of mine home and ate it for lunch. A little disappointed in our world as a whole with how the inflation seems to be ok with so many. I hope the young lady that graduated HS yesterday did get to enjoy the rest of their meal. I'm glad we were there when they were. On a side note, the waiter was great and the manager was understanding. Curbside pickup poor, more worried seating people than curbside deliveries. Ten minutes late after the twenty five minutes to prepare so my son called. Apologized and said they would be right out with it waited another ten minutes he called again. Finally came out with it--to their credit they apologized and were honest stated that they just forgot, I am sure very busy. All this going on and the distance to home-- food was cold. The drinks were left out (refund took two phone calls but said they would refund on our credit card), salads were ordered and we requested toppings most were left out and the ones we didn't want they were put on. Yuck! Olives. Over all food beside cold, chicken Parmesan very bland along with other entrees. Thought we would take advantage of the "other instructions" waste of time did not follow through with the simple instruction of extra garlic butter.. Not a good day, in their defense they were a little busy. I took a star away because my son tipped them and shouldn't, and found out that when they came out with the food they asked, " are you going to tip them?!?" WOW! This was over a $70...
