Pink Pig Cafe — Restaurant in Norman

I understand unexpected circumstances, but make it up to your customers and please communicate. It wasn’t crowded when we arrived; ordered 3 meals and 1 drink. 30 mins later, the waters arrived. We noticed other customers had been waiting a long time for their food, as well. 45 mins after ordering, the chai arrived. After about 55 mins of waiting, I took the kids out to walk around and saw a worker running in the back door with a box of lettuce you’d find at Walmart and something else. My husband heard from others that they were out of food but they never told us what was taking so long. 1 hr and 10 mins after ordering, the food came. It didn’t even come with the sides it was supposed to and when we approached them about it, they said they were out and took another 20 mins to bring hashbrown patties instead. The wrap had a couple slices of turkey and the salad had no dressing at all. My experience at this place was a wonderful one. All the foods are instagram worthy and equally delicious. Each meal is worth the price since it isn’t expensive but is very good. The atmosphere is such a soothing and calming area that it’s a place where you can get work done. Then again, it is also a great place to meet up with friends and chat and enjoy the drinks and meals. There are so many comfortable chairs and seats that it’s a great place to lounge. I honestly think every single meal that I have tried was delicious but my favorite drinks are the White Mocha Green Tea. You can get it cold or hot, whatever your preference is. Not only is the food good but the actual area as well. All the chairs are colorful and compliment the atmosphere inside. The lights are very modern and trendy at the same time as well. My overall experience was a great one and if you are near Norman in Oklahoma you should definitely come and give this place a try. You will end up loving it...

I’ve been here quite a few times, and the most recent visit was this past Saturday morning. We could tell they were definitely understaffed for the crowd they had. There appeared to be one employee making food in the kitchen, one employee operating the register, and one employee running food and making the drinks. We weren’t in a hurry, but I did see a few parties having to go to the counter and ask about their order a few times. Despite the fact that it took a while to get our order, we had a great experience. They serve delicious food and coffee drinks! Once they got through the rush, the employee who had been preparing the food in the back walked around to offer her apologies to each table and thank everyone for their patience. She even gave my nephew a cup full of macarons! That was sweet, and definitely a nice touch. My only suggestion for them would be to have more staff on hand for the busy morning rush on...
