Shoutout to Kassy and the team for making this near impossible request happen. I once owned these amazing set of frames and fell in love with a few years ago. Due to wear and tear, I no longer was able to wear those frames. Finally got insurance and gave the Normans office a call to get those frames back. Cassie explains that they discontinued those frames but to give her a day to figure out if there’s another store that is still carrying them. I did not ask her to do this for me, but did mention they were my favorite. A day goes by and she gave me a call to let me know she hadn’t forgot about me and to give her another couple days. I really didn’t have my hopes up, as they were discontinued and made to send all of them back to Calvin Klein. She calls me a few days later and said she was able to find a frame in another office in a different state and that she could get them to me shortly to pick up. Never buying glasses here again. I contacted the store Tuesday to schedule a convenient time to pick up my glasses—they said no appointment was necessary—I told the representative it’d be two days before I could come in. Hours changed all of a sudden—I drove 50 minutes to pick up my glasses—got to the entrance of store at 556pm—and there was a newly posted sign stating new closing hours of 6pm—the two employees closing down the store saw us and didn’t even at least acknowledge us to make us feel better about the change of hours. You know what would have been awesome? If you scheduled my appointment like I asked you to. This could have been avoided. I am frustrated and disappointed...
Read moreI would have gone with 4 stars, but I can't stand the unethical practice of charging a patient before telling the patient exactly what they are getting. Quit adding on extra exams that are optional that insurance doesn't cover. I walked in, checked in, and was told, "That will be $70." I told the lady that didn't sound right because I knew that my insurance paid 100% of the exam. She quickly printed a coverage statement and handed it to me. It showed $0.00. I asked her what I was being charged for and she said it was for the exam. I said that my insurance covers 100% of the exam. I again asked what exactly is the $70 for and she told me it was for some exam that look into your eyeballs and points to a display. I asked if that was necessary and she said no. I then told her that I didn't want the extra exam.
