This evening was my first and last visit to their new location off 12th. They don't advertise how much different their gyros are compared with gyro hero or any others I've had around Norman. I ordered the beef gyro × 4, $33 After making it home with my small bag I began removing the sandwiches. They seemed to be about half the size of gyro hero's and I don't care what anyone says, size does matter! The meat is chopped up and the texture seemed slightly overcooked. The sauce had mint blended in and then fresh mint also chopped up and added with the tomatoes and onion. I was not prepared for this departure from the food I really wanted. I'm certain that many will like/love the twist and say my pallete is not adventurous enough to appreciate these new flavors introduced and I will agree completely.

Read moreSo rude. I ordered a combo gyro meal. I asked to add French fries to my meal and a side of garlic mayo because I didn't want the humus, pita bread, or soda that it came with. She approved. When I got my order there was no sauce or fries. I asked if I could have them (people make mistakes)

She then again said, "No, go eat this and come back another time for fries. That's enough food for you." ... She wouldn't even allow me to order them when I asked to pay. She asked me what drink I wanted. "I'll have a Sprite, I guess." ... She puts a Pepsi in my bag.
It was very awkward and embarrassing, because there were other customers in the area. I will not be...
Read moreIve been going to Sisters Mediterranean Taste for probably a couple years now. It is my go-to quick shawarma spot. I have to eat here every once in a while or else I start to crave it lol. I usually get their beef shawarma sandwich combo. The shawarma is very flavorful and fresh, the hummus is always perfectly simple and delicious. I also highly recommend their baklawa, it's never overly-sweet, has a good balance of filling, and the dough is always the right amount of flaky/crunchy. Both texture and taste are very important to me, and so far this place has always been a hit. Additionally, the people running Sisters are always nice and welcoming. I highly recommend trying...
