Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Norman

I went to the sonic on se24th and Alameda, about 7:30pm, there was 2 rkirvehicles ahead of me, and 3 in line heading to the window, whenhe I finally got to the speaker there was no response, sowe l waiellted for someone to respond over the speaker, there was none, after all 4 vehicles had left l was still at the speaker, still nothing, l said hello several times, l know whoever had the headset on had to hear me, there was 3 other cars now behind me, l even saw the employee working the drive thru see me, so I drove up, and then they walked away, l tried to get the person wearing the headset waiving my hands at them and she finally came to the window and yelled at me that they were short handed, l replied you don't have to yell at me, and she said you will just have to be patient we will be with you shortly, l spend 30 to 45 dollars a week there and tip the drive thru worker because they are not car hopping and lose the opportunity of getting tips, l went to the sonic on 12th and Lindsay and talked to the manager on duty there and they were shocked about it, l asked if they are the Same franchise, she replied no, l said great they will get all my business from now on, even though it is out of my Way, and tell all of the friends and family l know to avoid this...

It is always terrible anytime I have a flashback and want a juicy cheeseburger from sonic or some onion rings cause they used to be good I am more than dissappointed The whole crew that works there are compleatly rude and have eye rolling attitudes the food there is always sitting soaked and burnt and I know its not the most expencive meal but for sonic prices there is no way in hell its worth the quality of food im given. I went there tonight had to drive up to the window because a girl named Shelby didnt want to listen after half of my order then the guy said oh we had extra onion rings from our last order (probablly 2 hours prior to) they looked like skinny overcooked bacon that had been sitting for days, the chicken was cold and the Shelby girl rolled her eyes when I asked for freash ones. My daughter loves the grilled cheese that Sonic makes, to the point where it is the only grilled cheese she will eat (despite having perfectly good bread and cheese at home). So it was to my surprise that this location has completely changed how they do the usual grilled cheese. The bread seemed like it came from the Breakfast Toaster and the cheese seemed to be a different brand. The tantrum that ensued from my 6 year old was one that I have never experienced in my life. Manager said that no changes were made and that this was how Sonic has always done their grilled cheese. Complete lie since the Sonic on Alameda continues to make the grilled cheese like my daughter is used to.
