We were driving down to the plumbing distribution center and Buddy’s caught my eye. On the way back decided to stop here and see what they are about. We weren’t disappointed. They have a smaller menu but really that’s all you need. I decided to get a gelati chocolate water ice vanilla ice cream with a soft pretzel. I was surprised the soft pretzel was soft fresh with the slightest bit of a crunch. The gelati is served with hard ice cream. I highly recommend to come here. I will be coming back when in town.

It’s an absolute institution! Do people give me crap because I usually get the chocolate and for some reason folks are haters? Yes. That’s on them though. If you want some authentic, Philly area water ice from the first place I ever had it as a kid, hit up Buddy’s! So good!

The BEST BEST BESTTTT GILATIS AND WATER ICE EVERRRRR! I've been going here since my Dad started taking me over 20 years ago! He's sadly gone now. But I continue to visit and LOVE BUDDY'S WATER ICE! We have been going to Buddys for many many years. There is no other that compares. We moved away from the area but recently visited and of course Buddy's was a must stop. Its still as good as ever and we stocked up to bring them back with us. A few minutes of thawing and they are delicious! I just savored my last stock up cup.
