I must say that this place is the absolute best for breakfast. I swear that other places make my stomach hurt mere hours after consumption, but not here. The dedication to picking amazing quality food is highly noticeable. The atmosphere is fun and quirky. Martin is just amazing. He remembers the people who come in (tons of regulars and it's not hard to tell why). The most impressive part about this place is how Diana (chef and owner) manages to put together such an eclectic assortment of flavors that just work! The daily hash (apple sausage is my favorite) has been nothing short of amazing. Portion sizes leave me feeling content and not over stuffed. The menu has tons of other options too. Although a little small, the Wee Nibbler grilled cheese is outstanding!!! I never would have thought grilled thin slices of apple, blueberries, goat cheese, on raisin bread would be a thing, but it's consistency and taste made my taste buds dance... probably why its portions made me sad, because I wanted more!! You can tell the love and care she puts into her creations. The one thing that is in need of an upgrade are the drinks portion sizes. They are a little small for the cost, so we mostly stick to coffee and water. There are options to take care of anyone and everyone, gluten free, any allergies, vegan friendly, and regular eaters like me can all enjoy the marvelous creations that come out of this super friendly and outgoing chef's...
Read moreAs a veagn of 32 years I've had so many bad experiences of finding meat in my food. Iat this point I've sworn off of eating at any establishment that serves meat. Well my friend kept trying to get me to try this place. I was in the area, hungry and about to start a long drive. So I called The Purple Rooster to ask about their grill set up. Diana, the owner, answered the phone. She was super nice and more than happy to answer all of my questions. She reassured me that they treat veganism as an allergy, that the meat goes on a separate grill, she is the chef and a vegan herself and has several veagns in her family. It felt so good to be able to trust the person making my food. I thanked her for her time and for supporting the vegan community and headed over for breakfast.
While I will say it did take a bit if time for my breakfast sandwich, it will totally worth the wait!! I ordered the tofu, bacon and cheese sandwich and a Twix coffee to go. Soooooo DANK!!! the sandwich was a tiny bit messy but idgaf, I'd eat it again in a heartbeat!! So excited to find a restaurant in the area I can trust!!
It's such a cute quirky little spot, the bathroom is clean, plenty of parking, super friendly staff, lots of seating and they're happy to host events!!
Thank you Diana!! I will...
Read moreFood has improved 😄 and they are conscious of the current food allergies. I'm not 100% sure if any cross contamination happens in this restaurant though. But if you don't have food allergies the place is great. I went to the purple rooster years ago. When it was in Plainville. I wasn't too impressed by the food then. I had a change of heart and decided to try the Purple Rooster again, in their new location. The owner, whom is female, had some greedy property management during the pandemic and she was forced to relocate to North Attleboro. The owner cooks all the food herself. I got a breakfast sandwich, with 2 eggs, avocado spread, and tomato on a grilled english muffin for $8. One egg sandwich would of been $6.50! That's a deal! It tasted fresh, along with the coffee ☕ I had a side order of warm apples that didn't need to be stewed as long as they were. A little cinnamon would help too. The service was good, but they weren't busy at the moment. If anyone wants a quiet breakfast or brunch, this is a good place. The server was very knowledgeable about food safety, and took our order in a timely manner. The owner informed me that the menu is always changing so if you don't mind trying new things, stop in. Her food...
