As much as I would have liked to give this place a better review, I actually had to contemplate between a two and a three star rating. This review is solely based upon a few visits for breakfast and one lunch experience. The menu is phenomenal and will have your mouth watering with its creative sandwiches and beautiful layout of bagels and desserts. Due to the name of the establishment "Bagel Fresh" I was intrigued to give breakfast a good go. But unfortunately I truly believe the one rule of thumb for a bagel joint is "Don't trust a bagel place if they don't have a sour dough bagel." And I have stuck to that throughout my review days. The prices are mildly expensive for what you get. I felt as if I was paying for more bagel than egg, cheese, and meat. This holds true for lunch. I had order "The Raider" on a wheat hoagie roll. The creative ingredients for this particular sandwich (along with fine other choices) are amazingly put together, but you get a huge disappointment when your sandwich arrives for pickup. You look at it in shock as if you've been cheated out of everything except bread. The meat and toppings are all layered in a fancy minuscule portion. I'm not sayin that it didn't taste good, because it does. But it completely lacked all items offered on the menu by a long shot. For a bagel and sandwich location in this area there is high competition and Bagel Fresh has the outstanding menu to outshine the rest. But as for a follow-through on delivery of the product ordered, this place should feel ashamed for the lack of fulfillment. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone if they would pack a little more bang for your buck when it comes to the items placed on the sandwich or bagel. But until then, keep moving down Route 130 for a more promising destination. I will not recommend an overall...
Read moreI used to a big fan for this place unless i see Very Poor Hygiene practice , The grill cook touching his nose , scratching his forearm and eyes , Dont value Importance of customers feedback, I observed the cook inside the kitchen was not using gloves , using his bare hands to serve bacon , cheese etc while preparing the bagels and sandwiches . So i Approached a lady in the front why the cook is handling the food when its ready to eat food , As per Public Health Regulations Ready to eat food cannot be touched with bare hands unless wearing a gloves . But the lady was very Rude answering back OH Do you want to inspect the place , they never touch the food with Bare hands they use spatula . She dont realize i have taken taken video of all the incidents behind the scenes . Will never return to this place , but i know it doesn't matter as they are always fully packed .. Owner / Manager Please take care of your customers who give...
Read moreWhat happen to this place, first of all the workers have attuides like chill u work at a bagel shop. I think it’s so bad for business that at 3 the grill is off and they rush u if u make an order for a bagel like hurry we’re closing soon when they don’t close for a whole other hour. Than u ask for extra pickles and the girl don’t give u pickles just because she so worried about closing early. Crazy part is I work at the hair salon and would of brought so much business but they don’t give good customer service. Today was the icing on the cake not only were the girls again nasty but my pork roll egg and cheese was nasty it’s not fully cooked just a complete wad of money so disappointed in this place bc there food is actually really good. Needs a new staff and maybe the manager should be on top of the girls the only awesome worker there is Ashley she is a hard worker and to be honest should run that place not the...
