I ordered food last weekend for almost $100 and did not get any loyalty points though the receipt states that I qualify for it. I've been a loyal customer of Tikka Fusion NB for over 2 years. I used to get the loyalty points. But I've not been getting the points for recent several months. So this time I asked the women who processed the payment to add my loyalty points. She said that she doesn't know how to. Then, Kunal, who called himself the manager, came up and said he is very busy working on a large order and cannot check into the issue immediately. He however promised to look into it and call me the next day.
I waited patiently for an entire week and no one from Tikka Fusion contacted me about the missing loyalty points. So I called Tikka Fusion today to ask about the loyalty points again. Dave took the call and I explained my issue but again as Kunal said, Dave said he will have to check into it. For reasons unexplained, i get a feeling that they are oblivious to addressing customer needs or requests. Also as Kunal said, Dave said they are very busy and will get back to me. I expressed to Dave that I have been waiting patiently for an entire week and now I'm getting the same answer. No apologies nor admission that the manager ignored the promise he made. To add insult to injury, Dave was very arrogant, condescending and patronizing. He wanted me to accept that he has given me an answer and I should now go away. Tikka Fusion gives very bad service to customers and does not honor and deliver on their loyalty program. Tikka Fusion does not care about the very customers who are supporting the business with repeat orders year over years.
What's more is that the managers, Kunal and Dave, don't keep their promise to resolve customer's issues but serve to insult the customer. Tikka Fusion seems to engage in questionable business practices and exist merely to profiteer from the community. I don't know how many other customers have "quietly" lost their loyalty points as a result of Tikka Fusion's questionable business practices. Every customer of Tikka Fusion should check if they are getting their loyalty points for every order and dispute if they have lost the points. After all Tikka Fusion actively advertises and promotes their loyalty program to increase their profits. This may be just...
Read moreI really like the chicken vindaloo and palak paneer. The chicken tikka masala is pretty good, but a little looser (watered down?) in sauce than I have had elsewhere. There is not a lot of chicken in these servings, there are other places that are more generous. The palak paneer medium spicy is one of the better ones I've tried in the area.
The gluten free roti is a nice alternative flatbread - not chewy or gummy, but good bread alternative.
I love the plain papadum. Some other places do not offer it plain, it always has pepper, onions, tomatoes on it elsewhere ("masala"), and I do not like that, the papadum get mushy. I usually only eat one per meal and I like to save the rest for another, later. The papadum is good with labne.
It's a more expensive restaurant than it is generous with the portions of chicken in the vindaloo and tikka masala and the cups of rice on the side, but it is flavorful food. I found the papadum slightly expensive too. Other places give more rice, so more people can eat per dish. Guru Palace is good about this; but, I prefer the rice from Tikka Masala. Here, you might only be able to share the chicken dishes between 1-2 people, depending how much you eat and how many dishes you order at once. The palak paneer stretches for more. You can always order more rice.
I did not love the soups - I tried the lemon cilantro and manchow. The manchow turned out to be a little salty and not gluten free.
Probably my new favorite Indian for now, for the plain papadum, gf roti, and palak paneer. But Guru Palace is less expensive for some items, usually tasty, and good...

We love his food and because of it we hired him to cater for all 4 of our wedding events, and might we say one of the best decisions of our lives. Krunal has provided us with such personalized and honest service. Not only is their food delicious and amazing but so is their professionalism and quality of service. Prior to our wedding, we have had countless phone, in-person, and text conversations about every little detail we wanted to incorporate for our wedding menu and he absolutely incorporated it all. Even a detail as tiny as ensuring that the food was tailored to the taste that we wanted, his team was seamlessly able to achieve that. In addition, I want to mention his team and his attention to detail was amazing, they knew how to differentiate their serving styles and food tastes with the events like garba and wedding. This type of detailed service was something I have never seen before, and Krunal and Tikka Masala did that for us. Additionally, we had every guest coming up to us and letting us know how much they loved the food. Even to this day, we have our relatives calling and raving about his food.
