this is my second time dining at Labebe Prime since the rebranding and i’m even more blown away than the first time. we came to celebrate my birthday and this will definitely be our new celebration spot.
first of all, i should mention that the dining room is completely redesigned and it is stunnning. the ambiance is intimate yet lively, and the vibes are impeccable. you truly feel like you’re dining out in the city even though you’re close to home.
next up, the food. THE FOOD. it’s so good that it hurts. my husband and i ordered oysters, sushi hand rolls and the Spanish octopus to start. the oysters were truly the freshest i’ve ever had and i’ve eaten a lot of oysters, all over the world. the hand rolls satisfy any sushi craving and the octopus was flavorful and tender. the capers and olives add the perfect salty touch! 10/10 would order them all again!
for our main courses, i got the stuffed Branzino and my husband got the cowboy steak. the Branzino was out of the world! flaky and well seasoned, with the crab meat stuffing stealing the show. the steak was cooked to perfection!! we will never order steak from anywhere else again. the quality of everything we ate, especially the steak, was top notch. it’s also worth mentioning the portions are huge!
on to dessert.what can i say except everything was better than the last. we ordered the tiramisu and to our surprise the waiters came out with a full spread of tiramisu, the viral Dubai chocolate, gelato and seven layer cookies. Tony, the chef and owner, came over to let us know it was his treat to celebrate the occasion and honestly, i’d come here just for dessert. everything’s made in house which isn’t shocking considering how fresh it all was. the Dubai chocolate is so worth the hype and the gelato was so creamy and perfect. the tiramisu was light and fluffy and the cookies tasted just like the OG ones from brooklyn.
Tony and his staff are true professionals and experts at their craft. everyone there is so friendly and inviting, so be prepared to have some laughs and a good time. Just an unbelievable night all around. Don’t wait, just make your reservation!
Original Review, Feb 2024:
Labebe Prime’s new steak and seafood menu is outrageously good. I’ve been a long time fan of their Mediterranean menu, and while their offerings have shifted, their dedication to high quality and delicious food hasn’t changed one bit.
My husband and I went with two other couples on Saturday night and the restaurant was full and lively. We ordered the sushi hand rolls, lobster wontons, crispy banging shrimp and short rib waffle cones to start. Everything we tasted was better than the next and full of flavor and creativity. My favorites were the shrimp and wontons, which are both must orders.
For dinner we got the cowboy steak and seafood combo. The cowboy steak was out of this world! Cooked perfectly with a nice crust and insanely tender inside. The seafood combo has so much flavor, and the risotto with it was the perfect. The portions were huge, neither of us could finish our meals.
As difficult as it might be, you need to save room for dessert here. We all sampled the tiramisu, chocolate lava cake and cappucino creme brûlée. all three were excellent, but the creme brûlée and tiramisu were the stars.
So if you’re considering going to the new Labebe Prime, do not hesitate and make your way! I really can’t say enough good things about the food and attentive staff. We’ll be back with more...

Read moreLet me preface by saying I've been to this place about 4-5 times because the food I've always had here was super tasty and good! And service has never left me with anything to complain about. My brother recently got married on a Monday 2 weeks ago. They chose to have their after nuptial luncheon here. My sister in law raved about how accommodating they were in organizing and planning the lunch with her. When they first told us that's where we were going for lunch, I was super excited because this place is literally one of my favorite places. Our party of 18 (including 4 kids) arrived at different times between 12-1215pm. They placed our private party in the corner room where you were able to close the doors for privacy. The long table was set up nicely. Though we had to be the ones to close the doors instead of offering to do it themselves. I noticed there was only one table in the restaurant when we arrived. I did notice that It took forever for everyone to get drinks and settled because they only had one server and bus boy assigned to our party. They ordered off a pri-fixe which included first course of appetizers (hummus, falafels, babaganoush, taboli, grape leaves and a feta cheese spring rolls). The food was delicious and super tasty but the quantity was DEFINITELY no where enough especially at my side of the long table. I was sitting at the end of the table with my one year old and we BARELY got any of the falafels, grape leaves and feta cheese spring roll. So when the server was actually present in our private room I had kindly asked for more, the response was "we have a lot of more food coming." It really rubs me the wrong way when someone working at a restaurant questions my request rather than just taking the action to make it happen. I had to explain to him that my one year old needed more grape leaves eat. Otherwise he probably wouldn't have given us more. The main course came plentiful of yellow rice and grilled vegetables and different kinds of meat platter. All the meats were just okay except for the chicken which was amazing. There was more rice more than anything. I was happy they accommodated my brother and his wife as they are vegans with a vegetarian paella. Overall, I do believe that management should have assigned our party our own server(s) to be present the whole time and serving our party privately. It would've made the world of a difference if they someone had been more attentive other than the bus man. Oh and it was super dissapointing that no one from management came into our party to check how everything was going. A check in is nice and it's a good way to help your guests feel important. As important as this amazing day was, LeBebe fell short when it came to all the little things that would have made this experience a whole lot more memorable for...
