Beach Bagels & Subs — Restaurant in North Carolina

I was turned away because they had 3 everything bagels left and barely anything else at 12 pm on Sat and we wanted at least one everything with our bakers dozen because that’s all our kid will eat. Was told we couldn’t even order one out of the 3 left. Was told management wouldn’t allow me to order any everything’s because they’re not enough and saving them… saving them for who? Here’s a tip from someone who worked in restaurants: make enough to support your popular items ahead of time to meet supply and demand. Wouldn’t have been as bad if there was anything else interesting available but there was barely anything. It’s not good business to turn someone away, even if this BS policy is correct, you could have made a fan out of me by allowing one in my order but instead you sold them to the people behind me after just telling me you couldn’t and now I’m writing this review and not supporting this business any more. Poor customer service...

I was drinking my smoothie ready to give this place 5 stars and then I feel something weird in my mouth. I thought...maybe it is blueberry skin?? 🤞 but I took it out and it was some kind of blue tape or plastic. I can only assume there is more of it blended up in there so I threw it away. Other than that the bagel sandwich I ordered was good. The bagel wasn't toasted enough but that was my fault. They have a sign that says they lightly toast them unless otherwise requested. I didn't see that until my food was already done. When they say "lightly" they mean barely so keep that in mind when ordering. There weren't napkins in my bag but that's probably my fault too. Eh.We showed up at 11.00am not much to choose from Bagel wise.Hubby ordered an jalapeño bagel with the jalapeño cream cheese.He said it was good.We had 2 tropical smoothies they Def were tooo much pineapple.Just tasted to sour because it was like frozen pineapple juice.Me and my daughter are smoothie fanatics we make them everyday but neither of us could finish ours.We also ordered an egg ,ham and cheese wrap with mayo.We got a ham n mayo with lettuce on a rolled up tortilla for 9 $ with no bagel that stated came with the item.She did remake it but it was just eggs and ham pieces inside.,not very flavorful at all.The other plain bagel was with strawberry cream cheese And it tasted like it was supposed to!Just aittle pricy for what you get.Service...
