The Felix Cafe — Restaurant in Wilmington

Felix Cafe RULZ!! The next time was even better!! Following week Parker and I go and get some plain beautifully fried crispy hot wings. With some amazing BBQ honey tangy sauce. And we split the Monte Cristo. Parker got sweet potato fries and I got regular fries with aside of mayonnaise in a lot of jelly. We both had leftover Monte Cristo's. Freaking AMAZING!! LOVE THE MONTE CRISTO'$!!!!

This last Carolyn and I went was For my birthday. And I got a whole Monte Cristo with extra jelly and if 5 bite salad. I ate 1/4 of the Monte Cristo, I ate the 5 bite salad and took home three-quarters of a Monte Cristo. It was great. Are it for 2 days!

Next trip to Felix Cafe was with Carolyn for Easter Sunday and they ran out of him for the Monte Cristo. we had ordered our drinks before we found out about the 86ed Monte Cristos. So the drinks arrived. But since then Monte cristo's were not available we left without without our drinks they need to have that labeled right up front.

1.Way BETTER THAN BENNEGAN'S Best Monte Cristo Sandwich I have ever had! Best service ever. Great atmosphere! This place is a hidden gem hidden down near the Port of Wilmington. I can't believe I have lived in the Port City for 17 years and I have never been to the Felix Cafe. So if you haven't tried it out yet get there ASAP!! Make reservations just in case. And if you've never had a Monte Cristo Sandwich order one your first time and then go another time and try something different. I can't wait to go back. I'll be dreaming of my next...

My husband and I decided to spend our Valentines at Felix cafe tonight. We made reservation today at 11am for 7pm. We arrived on time and were seated at 8pm. Our waitress Ashley was incredible. Despite all the stress that was "very apparent" she kept her composure and made us feel welcome with a smile. Ashley took our order. My husband ordered the surf and turf and I chose the shrimp flounder platter. After 2 rounds of cocktails our entrees finally arrived around 9pm. My platter was served with only shrimp as the waitress informed me they were out of flounder which was substituted with mac and cheese truffle.(some rendition of macaroni noodles with cold cheese on top) My entree was also served without hushpuppies. My husband asked for his steak to be cooked medium well. His steak came in two servings. One was well done then other was medium rare. His entree was advertised to come with asparagus which came with a side of broccoli. Overall we were very disappointed with the food and exaggerated wait time at your place of business. The only exception was the very pleasant waitress whom we made sure was taken care of. I will not recommend Felix Cafe to anyone I know. Nor will we ever plan to return. Best...

BEWARE HIDDEN FEE RIP-OFF. We ordered a $15 monte cristo sandwich and were shocked when the bill arrived with an EXTRA $10.50 charge for "plate sharing." Double checked the menu and zero mention of this charge. No signs were posted. Our waiter didn't mention this fee. It was a total letdown to pay almost TWICE the price to share a sandwich. Yummy monte cristo with a deceptive and expensive hidden fee charge. It's unethical to charge people for fees that are not listed nor explained.

In response to the owner: we were not given quadruple the condiments (just a single small container of jam came to the table), no individual choices were offered, and we looked carefully at the menu when given our bill and still could not see anywhere anything about a sharing charge. The pictures of the menu on your website also don't have a single mention of a plate-sharing charge. We expected a single plate to arrive. We didn't ask for anything to be laboriously split on different plates. And none of this was asked or communicated...
