I worked there back in 2015. It was my first job and I was a junior in high school. I quit just after 3 weeks because of how poorly the staff were treated including myself. I was hired to work the cash register and front line. We were so understaffed that I was the ONLY one working that even during the busy days while drive thru seemed to have more than enough and the cooks as well. And then when they seemed to be so āswampedā they had the nerve to ask me to help them when I was the only one upfront and no one was helping me. Also, on my very first day the manager just put me at the front and left me. Didnāt even train me and then got mad at me when I kept asking for help because I had no idea what I was doing. The. There was one manager (we had maybe 5) who randomly walked up to me and accused me of giving him a made up number and continued saying he had been calling me. I told him that if the number was (insert my number here) then thatās my number and to not accuse me of something like that again. Then I had asked if I could work 5-9 on school nights and they got so mad and tried to refuse it but the store didnāt have their stuff together so the employees would be leaving at midnight when they closed at 10. And since I had school the next day Iād have to be up at 5 A.M. They Also have no idea what team work is and when Iād have to close the front and restock everyone wanted me to help them with their stuff, but no one wanted to help with mine. Oh, and fun fact. Always ask for fresh fries, chicken supremes/tenders because the employees, although there would be tongs that they never used, would stick their hands in the food and eat it. And then give you that same batch. Also, ALWAYS ask for fresh chicken because what they liked to do was stick the old chicken under the heat lamp and give it out and claim it was āfresh.ā This establishment is the worse one and since I had quit, I never came back to this one. The one in welcome is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt was over an hour before they closed and I decided to order fast food for my boyfriend and I, as we were moving him into his new home and hadnāt eaten in about 10-11 hours. First thing I noticed is their speaker is broken and has you pull up to the second window, not an issue, things break all the time! When I pull up to the window and order the guy tells me āthe fries and tenders will be 5 minutes we just dropped themā So I said thatās fine, Now I know he has had a long day of working, I get it, I did retail for years, but if you want to roll your eyes about doing your job, at least wait until you have your back to the customer. I waited 17 minutes Before I went in there to see what was going on. I walk in there and everyone is leaning on their butts and lower backs, on the surface that they prepare food on, all giggling. There is another gentleman in the BoJangles whom ordered on the app, his order stated it was ready for pick up, and he had gotten there about 10 minutes after I did. He is in there waiting on his food and I hear them say āWe just dropped the fries itās going to be 5 minutes, so I say I just want a refund as I had been sitting outside for my food for 17 minutes not including how long it took to get my order put in (about another 3 minutes). The fastest I seen them move all day was to give me a refund. I like refunds done in front of me, but luck be BOTH registers in house are broken! The, I presume āmanagerā Scoffs at the fact I tell the other guy how long I had been waiting as if I was wrong (my receipt has the time I got there). The other customer proceeds to tell me that this location was shut down for a while because of how bad it fell off and it all made sense! Again I have worked retail and even fast food, It sucks but take pride in where you work, even if a little bit. I have never had such terrible service like this, Hopefully it gets better hut that was ridiculous. Good luck to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBojangles closed for multiple health code violations. The Bojangles will remain closed until the health department determines that all of the violations have been corrected.
The closure document states the restaurant couldnāt keep food at the proper temperature because a door was missing near the area where the food was prepared.
A sink for employees to wash their hands was reportedly not maintained properly.
The Bojangles was also cited for having unsanitary equipment, utensils and linens and for violating water, plumbing and waste guidelines.
Inspector Nora Sykes inspected the restaurant on May 16 and listed violations that the Bojangles would need to fix.
The report says most of the dishes checked had flour residue on them, including sheet pans, drink nozzles, stainless pains buckets and squeeze bottles.
Workers had to throw away a pan of chicken at the drive-thru pack station, eggs that were kept as a liquid at the grill, bacon and country ham that was kept in drawers under the grill and fries that were not properly labeled,
The Bojangles was ordered to contact pest control for flies.
A box of Bo-tato rounds was on the floor next to the stand-up freezer, and an employee was not wearing a hair restraint and another had a long unrestrained ponytail, according to the inspection report.
Utensils used for dispensing food were being stored in āuncleanā spaces, inspectors say. A bag of clean linen was also found stored on the raw chicken breading station.
The report also states that cleaning was needed on toilets...
