Burger King — Restaurant in North Carolina

If there I could give less than one star, I would. I ordered a Whopper (using the survey coupon), small fries, a drink and some hot water. I wanted the hot water to make some hot chocolate using stuff I had in my car. The personel at the window was clueless and had no idea what he was doing. He had to call someone else to assist him. When he finally handed me the drink and the hot water, the water was starting to get cold. From what I could see, there wasn't anyone inside the restaurant waiting for assistance, but they had me waiting without telling me why. The window personel took my money. I thought I saw someone put the Whopper in a bag, but they weren't giving it to me. I finally asked about it then a few seconds later they handed me a bag. When I checked the bag, the fries were cold and extra crispy. I have had refried fries at BK before and know EXACTLY what it looks like. I told them the fries were cold and they let me wait some more. When they took it back and handed me some hotter fries, it turned out that these fries were also refried, just hotter. I did not finish the fries. They did not give me a receipt and I had to ask. The guy oulled up a duplicate receipt and made certain to cut off the survey section. I plan to call in and complain. First time here at this location and despite other restaurants closing their doors to customers, this location has not given up. This morning on my visit found one counter person doing drive up as well and doing a great job. The restaurant has a nice open layout where you can look through not only the customer area but the kitchen also. These days I try to give a balanced review and give not just the bad parts but also try to be fair and outline the good parts. Coming in I always wash my hands and one thing I noticed was the restroom doors; the women's restroom has a handle to pull but the men's unfortunately has no handle and you can push. We know when we go to wash our hands it's nice that some places have modernized and you don't have to touch anything, but not here, you have to touch it all and after you clean your hands now you have to grab the door handle that someone who doesn't wash their hands have touched. Lastly I ordered my food and thanks to the exceptional counter person manning two positions I got my order hot and fresh. We are lucky that we have many choices for lunch near here and more coming. When I drove up to this BK I was not sure it was open. The outside lights were not on. When I went in there were 4 people in the back cleaning as if they were about to close but I had arrived before 2130. No one said Hi or anything. They all tried to avoid contact with me. Finally Ashley came to the counter. She did not say Hi or ask how she could help or what can she get me. This is the second time I have come here in the past month and she did the same thing. When I was halfway done with my order she almost tried to finish and give me a price in the same way she did the last time I was here. When my food was done she again did not say anything like thank you or please come again. None of the things that make a person feel welcome and thankful that a customer decided to spend their money at this store. I would recommend only doing the drive thru at this location after it gets dark unless you want to be ignored and treated like...
