Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in North Carolina

Update! I came and changed my review to one star. I ordered again from hungry Howies and I ordered a small pizza, howie bread, sauces , Greek salad and cinnamon bread. This time I ordered online hoping it would all be correct. This time they forgot the Howie Bread. I didn’t see anything wrong with the order when I got it until the delivery driver left and I opened the boxes. All the boxes were there but one was completely empty….no howie bread. I called and explained. The manager said he was sorry but it is the busiest time of day. So pretty much oh well. He was going to charge me to deliver the bread to fix my wrong order they got incorrect. I already paid the delivery fee I shouldn’t have to pay it twice. They did give me the credit but this is not ok. Like why are you charging me to fix your mistake. I always tip 20% and I’m not a difficult customer. This is not ok. I won’t be back. This is three out of three ordered that have been messed up.

Good food and nice delivery drivers!!! Two out of the three times I’ve ordered they have forgotten items and sauces. And they never corrected it. Just said sorry. It really puts a damper in the meal I wanted...

I want to first say that we have ordered salads and sandwiches from here several times and have had great service. Not tonight! We placed a curbside order at 7:38pm before leaving our house. The app and my email confirmation said it would be ready in 10 minutes. We waited for that curbside order for nearly an hour. We we're trying to avoid going into the restaurant due to being sick. Otherwise i would have had no issue going inside. And we were giving them the benefit of the doubt since it appeared they were busy. However when we saw people go in to get orders that were placed while we were sitting there waiting on our food it became apparent that they were ignoring the "I'm here" notification for curbside pickup. They were just lazy and had no intention of taking it out to us. Nor did they offer an explanation for their lack of action when I went in to get the food. We tip in cash. And they lost that tip! Edit: I literally could have gone into food lion, got a frozen pizza, cooked it at home, and enjoyed it more. The pizza was not good. And the chicken Caesar salad was literally a head of lettuce sliced in one clump with some chicken bits thrown on top. What happened tonight? That salad usually makes 3 really nice side salads with...

This place always has an excuse. Training new people. From day 1 of them opening, no one was trained on how to make their product, and cut it correctly. Tonight is the last straw. A deep dish with all the cheese on one half, the other just dough and sauce. And cut in a 1/4 pattern. I'm done. Do yourself a favor. Avoid this place. Spend the extra on another..

Let's just add on to this one. 2 months later. We order a delivery tonight. It's been an hour and 20 mins. No pizza. Call the store, manager says, your pizza has been out of the oven for 15mins, waiting on a driver to return. Cold pizza anyone??!!!. He literally said, we are training new cooks, and new drivers. This place is a joke. Maybe the owner should spend more time trying to find responsible managers and employees. This managers first response, was to offer a refund. Are you kidding me. That fixes your issue, but what about your customer that had no other plans for dinner?? I'm done with this place. And all if you that read this. Should avoid this...
