Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in North Carolina

Ordered my free flatbread sandwich through T-Mobile Tuesdays. Went to pick up said sandwich, walked in and saw 2 employees working behind the counter. I stepped up to the counter, waiting to be noticed, to pick up my sandwich. Neither person acknowledged my presence at all!! Since this was the first time I had ever been in this store or even eaten any of their products I had no idea how pick up worked. Then I saw one of the employees walk over to a shelving unit and place a bag with an order in it and attach a receipt to a clip. Hmm I thought maybe this is how I get my order and sure enough there it was! But never, at no time, did either of those employees ask me if they could help, or even acknowledge my presence with a simple hello. Won't...

My family and I have been coming to this location since it opened, sometimes multiple times per week, and this experience was very disappointing.

I ordered two smoothies last night and drove to pick them up, but Google showed the store as CLOSED in red letters, so we turned around. When I went in the next day, the owner said they were actually open, but she refused to refund or remake the l smoothies I paid for and never received. She offered 20% off on a future purchase which doesn’t make up for the full loss.

Even if the online hours were wrong, that’s not the customer’s fault, and I expected better customer service, especially from a place we’ve supported for so long. The owner seems heartless.

The absolute worst tropical smoothie chain I have ever been to. I placed my order at 3:30pm and and I’m still waiting on 4 smoothies at 4:50. This is beyond ridiculous. This was supposed to be their opening week too! To have 20 people behind the counter and both managers working this is inexcusable. Never in my life have I waited this long just to be asked again and again what my order is because they lost everyone in the stores orders. They then proceeded to complete the orders in the order of who they wanted to serve first. Cookies were even given to the wypepo to thanks them for their service and anyone who showed any concern got skipped. Do not recommend this...
