Frostings Cakeshop — Restaurant in Spring Lake

This place is really cute and they sell a lot of really creative cupcakes but the real reason I love this place is because they sell gluten-free cupcakes on Fridays and Saturdays, but 5 times now I have gone to the store on a Friday morning to get a cupcake they’re sold out and it’s very frustrating because they want you to order a half a dozen to basically claim any,?? you can’t just walk in there and just grab one or two if you feel like it because they’re always out! They should not allow people to buy all the cupcakes on Friday morning they should make them pre-order them so that people like me who want to come in and just get one can do that, especially if they are going to offer gluten-free in their store and that they only offer it two days out of the week! So I’m very frustrated with this place. So all this to say if you are gluten-free you’re better off just to buy your mix at the store because they never have any for you to just go get for a sweet treat and I don’t want six at a time. I went in to place a pretty large order for my daughters cheer team. When I walked in the girl was helping someone else which was fine and said she’d be right with me. Someone walked in AFTER me, peeked in the glass and walked to the register where the girl was wrapping up checkout of the woman she was helping when I walked in. Instead of telling this other person she’d be right with her and her son, she proceeded to take their order while me and my daughter stood there. Unacceptable! I’ll make the drive to SmallCakes in Fayetteville instead and place my large order there. I will NEVER spend my money with a small business that doesn’t respect the community keeping them...

We didn’t receive our 4 other cupcakes we paid for and we called the dasher she stated they only received one bag and it was only 2 slices of cheesecake. Paid $30 to only receive 2 slices of cheesecakes which is ridiculous and not even worth the price. We called the merchant they never explained why the reason for not receiving them stated they could do a re delivery. Waited on hold for 10 minutes seemed very unprofessional and rude as well as got hung up on while waiting on hold. Called back to be told they couldn't get it redelivered that I would receive a refund but I haven’t received any confirmation or any email of that nature. Will not be...
